Fast and hookless compatible. My go-to tire for all my bikes. Recently switched to GP5000 AS TR for my casual bike (Aethos) and realized how much faster the S TRs are. When you catch them on sale, stock up. Can never go wrong with some S TRs.

This tire is the only one I race on the road. It is great for cornering and fast on the flats. Highly recommend.

This is probably my fifth or sixth set of Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR Road Tires, and they continue to impress. It's the perfect all-around tire. I race almost every weekend, and it's a relief to use the same tire for both training and racing. No need for separate training and racing wheels with tubular tires'those can be such a hassle!

I've been running versions of the 5000 for 15 years. This is my first mount of the tubeless version. For me, they mounted easily on my Giant SL1's. I ride faster on these 30mm than on the fondo 32mm's that my Defy Advanced Pro came with. No flats. I run 60 to 65 psi front and back. More than satisfied.

Not the tire's fault. I've been running them on Zipp 404s. But I did pick up a staple 40 miles from home.
Bad day to be me. But I patched the tire and have put another 1500 mile on it since. So really little to complain about. I'll defiantly buy them again.

Continental tires have always been my go-to, but over the past couple years I had decided to try a few other brands: Pirelli, Maxxis, Michelin, to name a few. Came back around to these Contis and I love them! Light and durable, great road feel, and hold air better than any other tubeless I've used!

I've had great success with Continental tires. They are my go to tire. Bought a new Trek Madone and quickly replaced the tires with these Continentals and haven't looked back. Got the natural rubber sidewalls which look awesome. The ride is excellent, smooth, and resists flats.

The Continental 5000 : DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!!!
I've used them since they first came out as the 4000 as clinchers and at present as 5000 tubeless with no issues. Low friction (fast!!) and great grip. No wonder it's the best all- a rounder when selecting dependable rubber for your steed.

Two years using these exclusively now. Not one flat. I have got the hang of seating them, I have accepted that the harder they are to put on the more secure I am. For the price I wish they lasted longer but I love the feel and ride.

Started running tubeless on my road bike and these tires are great. I've always loved the tubed version, and these are just as good (if not better). At the risk of jinxing myself I have not had any punctures and they were actually fairly easy to mount and to seat without an air compressor.

Great wear, no punctures, used for training/everyday.

I spent years racing on tubulars and finally decided after retiring from racing to switch to tubeless tires. I am so glad that I chose the Continental S TR Road tires in 28 mm. Honestly they were difficult to get on my DT Swiss 1400 wheels, Once on the wheels they aired up without an issue. I can dial the air pressure in based on my training rides. Wahoo

If you're switching to tubeless, this is the spring/summer tire for you. Supple, smooth, durable, and super easy to mount. Rides well in damp conditions; haven't tried in the true wet of Oregon.

It's hard to say something new about the GP 5000 that has not been said a thousand times. It is fast, reliable, and has awesome grip. It's still among the best, years after it came out.

This is my second set of Grand Prix 5000str tires. I'm sold on this product. I really appreciate the grip that these tires have going into and out of a corner with speed. It's a real confidence booster.

California's Central Valley might be flat but the adjacent Sierra Mountains are not. Riding from home I get a great mix of flat terrain and climbs of up to 14% - 16% and even 19%.
The GP 5000S TR has very low rolling resistance, excellent durability and climbs, descends and corners better than any tire I have ridden.
I highly recommend this tire.

Much easier to mount than my previous GP5k TL tires. Still far from the easiest, but not nearly as many cuss words, beer and planetary alignment required to get these things on. Fast as always, pretty resistant to punctures and a nice ride. Conti continues to impress me.

I had great experience using Contintental's GP line of clincher tires and this tire in tubeless configure delivers on that promise. These were easy to seat on the initial install. These tires perform just as well as the Vittoria Corsa TLRs that preceded them and they seem to be a bit more durable as well. Even on sale, they are pricey, hence only 4 stars on value.

Came back to these after a year on a cheaper set from a different brand. I was immediately reminded how much tire choice impacts the quality of your ride. These are excellent. Expensive, but no more so than other premium tires.

Bought two sets of 32s and have set these up tubeless on two of our bikes (Canyon Endurace with DT Swiss wheels and Trek Domane with Bontrager Aeolus wheels). I was able to mount them by hand on both sets of wheels but it does take some effort. They certainly feel faster than stock tires and are grippy in dry and wet conditions. Fast, smooth, and comfortable.
