I've ridden the 4-Season about 15000 miles over the past decade. This tire has good grip and a terrific feel for the road. No tire is flat proof, but this is very flat resistant. Easy to change due to kevlar beads. Average wear.

I weighed these on my digital scale. I weighed several, I think I had 4. Then weighed Conti 5,000's AND my Gator skins.
These tires weighed more than my gator skins.
About 340 grams on average. About 100 grams more than my Conti 5000s.
So VERY HEAVY. NOT. A racing or light weight tire as I expected.

Only had a few dry rides on these, but road use is great and smooth. Needed replacements for the stock tires on my 10 year old used bike purchase. Easy to mount using a couple tire levers (not my first rodeo however). Bought for the extra protection after getting almost a flat per ride on my other bike.

I bought 3 of these. They weight much more than advertised. The ones I got, I weighted on my digital scale, They weigh more than my gator skins.
For A 28 tire, about 330 grams. VERY heavy.

I know these are highly reviewed, but I want to chime in. The day before my Reach the Beach ride (104 mi), I had a flat on one of my Specialized Roubaix (all winter, no problems). On close inspection, both tires were slashed up bad and chock full of imbedded shards of glass (so much I could have started my own recycling center!). In a panic, I ran over to my LBS, and they convinced me to get the 4 Seasons. Got them home, and couldn't mount them on my Shimano rims. Back to the LBS. Mounted, the ride was awesome. I have over 800 miles on them now, virtually all in and around Portland (which should now change its nickname from City of Roses to City of Broken Glass). There is not one scratch on them! Even the rear tire still has the seam running around the center! My only complaints so difficult to mount, and really hard, and I run them at 90 PSI. But if I don't have to fix a flat, who cares! Awesome tires!

I exchanged gator skins for these babies. The exchange process was outstanding due to great customer service!

I have the 700x28 mounted on Spinergy Stealth wheels on my tandem. They measured at 27.5mm soon after mounting. I wanted something just a little faster than Gatorskins without giving up too much reliability and puncture protection as handling the big bike on a flat tire can be a little bit dicey. I weighed both tires using a hanging scale and they both weighed exactly the same which I took as a sign of quality manufacturing.

I bought these because I really like the performance of the GP-4000 Continental tires and on the other side of the coin I appreciate the puncture resistance of the Gatorskin tires. So far so good. Yes, not quite as fast as the GP-4000 but for sure livelier than the Gatorskins. For sure faster than the Gators and so far no flats so we'll see how that works out longer term. I bought these for ultra distance timed events (double centuries) where speed is important but flat resistance maybe more so.

I ordered these tires as backup to the identical tires I've been using on my two road bikes. They are super. So far - resilient, long lasting and having good grip on the road. And the purchase experience with Biketiresdirect was superb.

My previous set of Grand Prix 4-Season lasted a little over 4000 miles. Had one rear puncture in 4k is awesome! One thing i really like about them is the ride. Usually when you have a tire that is this puncture resistant they will have a harsh ride. These are great tires for the money.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more durable and better performing tire in the sub 250g weight range.

I've used Michelins, Vittorias and Hutchinsons before, but these are the longest lasting and most durable year-round tire that I've used. I just wish that it comes out in a tubeless version sometime soon!

I replaced Vittoria Rubinos with the Continental 4 Season when a stone ripped the Rubino's sidewall open. I was probably on my 3rd set after putting 11.5 K on the 4 Seasons over 3 years. I rode them 12 months a year with no issues. I think one flat when I rode a set too long. The last set is still good, but I now use the bike they are on on the trainer. They hold up well on the trainer too. I do rotate my tires about every 1k. I ride for exercise so I can' t talk to performance other than wear, but rain or shine I never felt unsafe in the tire, well once when they were completely under water on a flooded road. And even then I wasnt sliding around.

The tires hold and edge extremely well in wet conditions. Just buy them!

I have been using these tires (700x28) exclusively on my BMC GF01. Great and comfortable ride. Excellent cornering. They last about 2500 miles in So. Cal. roads. Like other continental tires, they are little hard to put on. Overall great tires especially when they are sale.

I ride approximately 150 miles per week on these tires. Asphalt bike lanes, canal paths, gravel paths and roads. After approximately 1,300 miles I've had one flat. This was caused by a pop rivet that went through the tire and tube. Run approximately 85 of air in each tire. Great ride, soft and low rolling resistance. Will purchase again.

This tire works well in this wet and cold area of Superior, WI. They grip very well!

Durable, high quality and grippy. Great tires for the wet while still giving you plenty of responsiveness and speed.

I really like the Continental Grand Prix 4-Season with Vectran, it rides really nice, I think it is faster than the Michelin that I usually ride. I will buy them again
