Building on the carbon layup found in the state-of-the-art 353 NSW, the 202 NSW features Zipp's Biomimetic Laminate which utilizes mixed-modulus carbon types to maximize stiffness at the spoke bed and toughness at the tire bed, mimicking the function of a muscle tendon. The carbon fibers selected for the outer diameter of the rim prioritize strength and durability to withstand impacts from the road, while the inner diameter of the rim uses higher modulus fibers to maintain consistent spoke tension under dynamic riding loads.

The result is a rim design that allows for a sub-1100-gram wheelset that reacts to your every input without sacrificing durability and the aerodynamic advantage of its 35mm rim depth on the descent.

This TSS wheel utilizes a 23mm inner rim width, allowing for wider tires and lower pressures that minimize rolling resistance and vibration losses to save watts en route to the summit so you can descend with speed and control.

The 202 NSW is expertly laced to the German-engineered ZR1 SL hubset with lightweight Alpina Hyperlite spokes in a 20-hole 2-cross configuration. The ZR1 SL features ultra-corrosion resistant GRW ceramic bearings and 66 points of efficient engagement, ensuring every watt is transferred smoothly to the road as you rise to the challenges ahead.
