Vision Team components represent high performance and value for money, and the Vision Team 30 Comp TL Rim Brake Alloy Wheelset shares many features of their high-end wheelsets, including: an asymmetric 2:1 rear lacing pattern, CNC machined braking surfaces, sealed cartridge bearings and hand-built quality.
30mm deep alloy clincher rims give aerodynamic benefits without an excessive weight penalty. CNC machined alloy hubs are durable and smooth-running. The Team30 is only available for Shimano 10/11spd cassettes and is an excellent training or entry-level racing wheelset.

I purchased these wheels when my old Oval Concepts 327 rear wheel began to have fatigue cracking where the spoke nipples meet the rear rim. It was to be an upgrade. I can't complain about the packaging and visual appearance upon delivery. However, I felt a "thumping" in the front wheel right away while I was braking. I cleaned the rim, I changed the brake pads per Vision's suggestion. I waiting about another 150 miles of wear before I reached back out to Vision about my experience. I pointed out that the rim was narrower around the seam. That would be fine if that section were less than a brake pad in length. But it isn't. After a few more emails with Vision, they told me these were just basic wheels and that is what I should expect. They did offer that I could send the wheel back, at my expense, for them to evaluate. If they found it was in spec, I would be responsible to ship it back.
BTW, the rear wheel is perfect. If the front was the same, I would have been thrilled with the quality and value.
After 7 years with my original Mavic wheels Iit was time for an upgrade. My new set of custom Vision wheels feel so much better that I feel tempted to order another pair for the future. They arrived on time, properly packed on the custom box. Love the spoke pattern and the CNC braking surface is excellent for my Tekto pads. Very happy with the product, and will order again!
