GREAT B B
MY 2 CENTS. MANY BAD REVIEWS ON THIS BB. NOT SO I HAVE LOGGED OVER 9000 MILES ON MINE..STILL GOING STRONG. READ YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. ROAD BIKES AFTER 100 HOURS CLEAN REGREASE., MOUNTAIN BIKES AFTER 50 HOURS. FRIENDS THE KEY IS MAINTAIN, CLEAN AND REGREASE, EVERY1500 MILES. I USE HIGH TEMP AXLE .GREASE..NO MATTER WHICH BB YOU USE, THEY STILL HAVE TO BE CLEANED AND REGREASED. FOR THE MONEY YOU CANT GO WRONG. I HOPE THIS HELPS. I HAVE ORDERED A SPARE BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP. KEEP MASHIN.

Good bottom bracket
I use this bottom bracket with a SRAM Red crank. I switched to this system after a year because the BB30 cups would no longer seat in the frameset so I inserted an adapter to use this system.
Overall, this is a good bottom bracket BUT the bearings make a loud popping noise once in a while. I have used three of these bottom brackets on this frameset and all three have done this. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints.

A solid piece of equipment
This bottom bracket is a no brainer compared the more expensive ceramic bearings model. Very robust and the 6 seals keep all the dust and grime out. Easy to install and last a long time.

Easy to install and very reliable.
This is a great value in an external cup bottom bracket. I paired it with a SRAM 900 double road crank as part of a Rival group build and the overall group works great. Very smooth drivetrain.

SRAM GXP BB
I consider this the better value over the SRAM red BB. It is 20 grams heavier, I can't fathom the price point unless you have the extra cash to get the red BB. I run the GXP now, after 4 years in use my cranks still spin smooth.
The mechanic at my LBS told me the GXP BB, it's a sealed bearing BB meaning it never needs to be re-greased.
