The Silca SuperPista Ultimate "Hiro Edition" Floor Pump is – simply put – the pro mechanic's choice of floor pump. Combining the multi-award winning SuperPista Ultimate floor pump with the multi-award winning Hiro locking presta chuck for one efficient and easy-to-use package. The Ultimate Hiro Edition varies from the standard SuperPista Ultimate with its custom hose and magnetic Steel End Nut on the chuck, allowing the Hiro chuck to docked magnetically when not in use.

You could most likely buy 10 Topek Joe Blows for the price of this pump! Pass them out for gifts and still have enough pumps to keep in the car, garage and the travel trailer. Let�s face it, it�s not something you need, it�s something you want. I have eyeballed it for a long time and took the plunge even though my Topek is still going strong. The fact is�it�s a beautiful piece of high quality tooling and it functions extremely well. From the one handed presta chuck to the Purpleheart wood handle, its attention to detail is awesome. The easy to read gauge coincides with my Topeka digital handheld gauge. The length of the psi hose is generous enough to use on bikes in stands. The pump foundation is heavy and sturdy. The single pump throw volume is higher than other pumps I have owned. Its ease of use and lifetime warranty are commendable. Parts are readily available but from the looks of things they won�t be needed for a long time. Again, you don�t need this pump but if you have a nice bike you might have to have one. BTW, I got a great price on this pump from BTD. You guys rock!
Been waiting patiently for this day to arrive, its finally here. This could be the greatest Christmas gift ever. I never realized how big of a deal a pump could make, after one use I come to find my old pumps gauge was off about -10 psis. Now, I know why sometimes when Id run lower pressure in the tires, I was still getting pinch flats or tire burps with the tubeless set up. Running at 35 psis when you think you got 45 psis is a big deal. Guess, I could have just gotten a new gauge for the old pump, along with the Hiro chuck, which I believe should be the standard for any home pump, just so easy to use and love the air bleed, so I know exactly what psis the tire is at. I commute to work by bicycle, one with a tubeless set up, the other with latex tubes, so this pump will get a workout almost everyday, and the joy I get from using it will only be slightly shaded by the ride to follow. Love all my Silca products, and BTD for providing me with the good deals and quick shipping of them.
The head is awesome. Magnet to hold the head is maintenance free.
The pump action is a little rougher than i expected but figure it may smooth out with use but some suggestions say to lube the leather plunger. I can see the pump lasting for many years.
I brought this pump based on my previous (10) year experience with a less expensive Silica Pump. My old Silica Pump was so very durable and easy to use. However this pump has a PRESTA ONLY HEAD that is finicky to use in my opinion. To seal properly around a Inner Tubes Valve Stem one needs to insert the stem a prescribed amount (not to little, not too far) and be careful that the Heads Cam Locking Lever does not contacting anything (a spoke or a chain stay or a chain guard or a pannier frame or XYZ) in the fully open or fully closed position or you will have trouble with this Head making a good seal. I think Silica should design a new Presta & Shraeder Valve Friendly Head for this pump that is easier to use.
