Good, Not Great
I purchased these gloves with the matching NatGeo socks. The socks are aswesome, but the gloves are less impressive. I would not call these gloves windproof, as I can definitely feel the cool air on my hands when I'm on the bike. They do breathe well and they do keep my hands warm enough for the "Florida winter". I just wouldn't want to rely on them in temps below 35-40 F. And you'll need to remove at least one glove to use your phone or any other touch-screen device. It's not a deal-breaker, but it makes these gloves a little "fiddly" for cycling. I'll likely just use these as a general-purpose, cool-weather glove when I'm not on the bike.

Road/mountain winter gloves
I'm really happy with this product. These are very versatile- they work well for temps ranging from low 40s to low 50s, as well as intermittent showers. Perfect gloves for Portland riding.
