Ice Technology rotors dissipate heat to maintain braking performance on long downhill stretches, delivering superb stopping power, consistency, and smooth modulation for peak performance under the most challenging riding conditions.

The MT 905's innovative design dramatically lowers surface temperature improving brake response, performance, and consistency while reducing system noise and extending pad life. Until now, Shimano's FREEZA Technology has only been available on centerlock rotors. Now, with the new RT-MT905 rotor, riders of 6-Bolt hub wheelsets can also benefit from the 150°C reduction in heat build up as compared to standard stainless steel rotors.
