Reviews
OK, so yes it's a one of a kind bolt. Specific for Shimano flat mount calipers. You do have to know the thickness of the chain stay mount your caliper is going to be mounted to. This is how you choose the size of the bolt. It does work as expected. No issues so far. The custom part of this bolt is really only the tip where on the caliper there's a small pin/clip that engages the tip on the bolt to keep it from backing out. Yes, this bolt is pricey for what it is, but isn't everything that is labeled for the bike hobby? Anyway if I was to do this again I would probably get a generic bolt without the tip and maybe use some blue loctite.
OMG, thank God for biketiresdirect I am a pro bike mechanic and there was no reseller that would guarantee the product BUT Biketiresdiect. This something that many bike shops or web stores would not do. They should be renamed GuaranteeFatTiresDirect.Com.
