With 11-30 and 11-34 Shimano Dura-Ace CS-R9200 12-Speed Cassette options, Dura-Ace riders now have even lower climbing gears. No matter your riding level, you can experience the best road performance available.
Despite even wider gear ranges, smooth, consistent gear steps remain a Shimano hallmark thanks to the addition of the 12th cog. Keeping things simple, the R9200 rear derailleur is offered with a single cage length that is compatible with the entire range of R9200 cassettes.
The Dura-Ace 12-Speed Cassette is compatible with Shimano 11-speed freehub bodies or the new Shimano 12-speed freehub body.
HYPERGLIDE+ cassettes have revolutionized off-road shifting with their seamless shifts both up and down the gear range. Shimano translated that technology from MTB to the tarmac. Even during maximal efforts up a climb or nearing the finish line, riders no longer need to back off to perform a shift.

Reviews
Added this to my new SL8 build with Ultegra Di2 and really enjoying the 11-34 gearing vs the 11-30 I was/am running on my other wheel set. I do not notice the increased jumps, but notice the amount of time I am able to stay in the big ring without having to grind. It is Dura-Ace so it is hard to give it a 5 star review as a value, but BTD is always good value.
This 12-spd cassette works well with my Campy Super Record set- up and gives me another gear lower. And as l get older, my bikes seem to need it! It never gets easier; you just ride on, eh Greg?
And at BTD, the price is... doable.
The new 12speed Shimano cassette is part of the updated groupset. Like all of the Dura Ace components it's well crafted and allows for smooth and efficient shifting.
As a person who climbs a LOT the 11-34 is perfect for both rolling hills and long sustained climbs, the weight is managed by balancing titanium cogs with aluminum, adding strength where needed and lightness in concert.
