I have a Felt FR1 with direct-mount chain stay rear brake (think under the bottom bracket) and the way Shimano has designed these brakes, there is no adjustment underneath, which is just as well. This readily serves the brake loosening function for wheel removal better than the hard-to-reach Cane Creek lever that was one of the reasons I moved to Shimano (Ultegra) brake. I mounted this up front rather than under the bottom bracket because I didn't want it bouncing against the BB.
