Reviews
Running these tubeless on a full rigid mounted on Stan's Flow MK3 with Hope Pro4 hubs and 180mm Hope rotors. The knobs aren't as chonky as some tires, but they do roll quickly on hardpack, bite well during braking and cornering on hard, loose-over-hard, and in loose as well. The 27.5 x 2.6 Addix Speedgrip formula is pretty light and easily spins up to speed. This combo fits my riding style. Haven't ridden them in sloppy mud yet, but my sense is that the knob spacing should let them power through and clear reasonably well in the light slop. You might want a bigger knob when things get gooey-sticky.
Bought these in 27.5 x 2.8 as a better mud alternative to the Maxxis Rekons. Love the rocket Ron's, but wish the tire compound was a bit stiffer. Rekons just roll over everything like a tractor. Rocket Ron's grip really well in the loamy soft soil of the northeast. Can't wait to try them out west in the granite.
