The Racing Ralph is the optimal competition tire. Now it has been re-designed to be even faster with lighter weight, lower rolling resistance, and a supple 67 epi casing.

The knobs of the 29 inch version are specially placed for the larger contact patch of the bigger wheel. Even for its speed, the Racing Ralph's medium well-spaced center knobs and sharp cornering knobs provide excellent grip.

Schwalbe's PaceStar Triple rubber compound features a supple base layer with a medium density center for fast rolling and longer life and a medium soft shoulder compound for grip. The Tubeless Easy (TLE) casing is tough against cuts and makes for extremely easy tubeless conversions.

The Racing Ralph 29 Inch MTB tire is available in 29 x 2.25 Inch (57-622 ISO, 605 grams) and 29 x 2.35 Inch (60-622 ISO, 705 grams).

Fast tires, low rolling resistance. Setup tubeless emarkably easy.

Set RRs up tubeless in 5-10 minutes. No shake and bake needed for the sealant. Just spun the wheels in the bike stand. Held air immediately.

Tubeless setup incredibly easy

Tubeless install took about 5 minutes for each tire. Couldn't have been easier.

Side wall flimsy!

Put them on front and rear with tubeless set up. The rear tire seated fine but the side wall is either too flimsy or old and oxidized so that it leaked throughout and would seal. Threw it out and bought a Continental Mountain Long as a replacement. As for the front, I got one ride out of it. The sidewall got a gash on a rocky decent that has handled numerous other tires in the past. So the front needed replacement after its first ride. Sorry no more Schwalbe for me.

Great Tire Most Conditions

This tire is fast and handles very well. It works great in most conditions except for the extreme mud which is understood by most buyers as racing is in the title of the tire's name. I love this tire and will buy more in the future.

Great XC tire for a variety of trail conditions.

I got my first set of Ralphs as stock tires on a Scott Scale. I had been using Kenda tires for a few years and thought I might as well try these out. I was so impressed on my first ride that I've only been using these tires for the last 2 seasons. Great grip in a variety of conditions. They roll fast on hard pack and have great grip on loose and even muddy trails. I'm running them tubeless and they are holding up really well.

350 miles on Great Divide route - no problems

I just finished over 350 miles from Banff, AB to Whitefish, MT self-contained and tubeless on the Adventure Cycling Association's Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Absolutely no problems! Love the Racing Ralphs, and even more so tubeless. I was with a group that required me to carry my share of the group gear. My average load per day was around 30 pounds. Lots of rocks, roots, mud, and bear scat. I need a few dental fillings put back in, but the Ralphs handled it all. There were literally miles of high speed rocky, bumpy, pot-hole ridden descents, and the tubeless Ralphs never burped. Ran them at 30 psi. Tubeless, don't go over 35 psi. I live in a high desert environment so I originally put 4 ounces of sealant in each one. The stuff dries up faster in the heat. Up north I probably could have gotten by with less sealant. Otherwise, once you go through the sealing process you are good to go - faster and harder.

Follow up on the leaky Racing Ralph from ABQ

I hit the panic button on my leaky Racing Ralph and I filed a claim with Schwalbe right away, which entailed sending them specific pictures of the tire on the inside and on the outside. The next day I went back to their site to let them know that I was okay with the tire, but could not find my complaint. I never heard from them and I assumed that my complaintclaim had hit the round file cabinet. Today FedEx rang the doorbell and a new Racing Ralph was on the front porch. On that basis I am increasing the value rating to 5 stars, because Schwalbe stands behind their product even if they aren't very communicative. Just don't put more than 35 psi if you are going tubeless, and expect some oozing of sealant through the sidewalls for a short period of time. Once it seals it is an absolutely awesome tire!

Great Trail Performance

Light weight, roll fast and corner like you are on a rail. Best XC tire I have owned. Very, very pleased as far as performance on the trail. Price is a bit on the high side so I hope they hold up well.

Impressive High Performance Tire

I mounted a Racing Ralphs tubeless on a Bontrager tubeless ready rim a couple of nights ago. It started oozing Stan's sealant through the sidewalls, which sealed immediately. Then I noticed a small area of apparent delimitation on the sidewall. I checked the tire pressure, but it was only 30 psi. On closer inspection it was not delimitation, but a very, very thin skin of the outer rubber that was opening up. I have now run this tire through 20 miles everything, except mud, and the performance has been excellent.

If you are going tubeless with a Schwalbe tire, then I would strongly recommend you visit the Schwalbe website and watch the instructional videos. They warn to never inflate a tubeless application higher than 35psi, even though it says 50psi on the sidewall. I had watched the Stan's video, and he recommends no higher than 40psi. Fortunately, I had only put 30psi in with my little hand pump.

Amazing, versatile, reliable, fast

I ride in Utah, with conditions ranging from hardcore Moab, to smooth Park City single track.

The Racing Ralphs EVO 29 are fast, durable, and have plenty of good grip in a wide variety of conditions. They are my go to tire. I run them with Stan's. I often ride from 100-200 miles a week. I
