Description
Big Betty is back!
Relaunched from the late 1990s and the early 2000s customer fave, the BIG BETTY Super Gravity 27.5 Inch MTB Tire is a downhill and enduro allrounder for dry to damp conditions.
Now she's back - with extra strong shoulder knobs, long, supported braking edges, outstanding self-cleaning properties, and the seal of approval from pros like WorldCup rider Nina Hofman.
Big Betty works perfectly on the rear wheel when combined with the brand's equally beloved Magic Mary and is equipped with everything modern tire technology has to offer.
Super Gravity — Robust as well as smooth
Areas feared by some, where riders and terrain challenge the product to the limit, where forks have lots of travel - that's the home of Super Gravity tires.
An extremely robust construction with four carcass plies as well as SnakeSkin fabric from bead to bead protects the tread and sides that are subject to big impacts.
Just like the Downhill version, a modified apex guards against pinch flats and ensures sidewall stiffness.
Yet, the tire stays exceptionally flexible due to the mixed turn - up construction and offers a smooth ride.
Features:
- Long supported braking edges for maximum braking traction
- Extremely stable shoulder blocks for outstanding cornering grip
- Open and aggressive tread for excellent grip and self-cleaning
- Addix Soft Compound.
- Folding Bead.
- Availabe in 2 sizes: 27.5 x 2.4, 27.5 x 2.6

Reviews
My go drier seasom all mountain rear tire. Rolls, carves and finds traction nicely. Only squabble is relatively faster wear especially if doig any access road clinbing due to only coming in softer compounds in SG casing, but partly what makes it grip well on trail as well
