Race Face Era SL 29" wheels were designed to bridge two riding disciplines with the goal of excelling at both ends of the spectrum. Not your typical XC race wheel, nor a strength-forward Enduro wheel. A happy medium, designed specifically for the mass of riders who sit happily in between.

At 385 grams, the Era SL rim is the lightest ever produced by Race Face. That low rotational mass allows quick acceleration and maintains momentum on climbs. The complete wheel is light enough for the weekend XC racer who wants to push their bike well beyond the demands of your typical XC course.

Era SL uses a 22mm rim depth to keep strength up so you can throw your little bike head-first into the rough stuff without remorse or hesitation. The 29mm internal width allows up to 2.6-inch tires for all your low-pressure, low rolling resistance, high traction needs.

Laced to the proven and reliable Vault Hub, Era SLs are Race Face's most laterally compliant wheels, smoothing out the small bumps and lowering rider fatigue, all while keeping that XC pedal efficiency. With 3-degrees of engagement and large-diameter bearings Vault keeps spinning for years of daily punishment.
