IT BROKE IN 2 WEEKS

I got this on July 11, and it broke July 28... the curved tip at the end snapped, turns out the metal doesn't run all the way through and about the 3mm or 4mm on the tip is just plastic, and it snapped while i was putting a tire one, other than that, it seems really good, nice and solid, i might have just got a defected one, because i haven't heard of any other ones breaking. I would recommend this for personal use every now and then

Well-built product! Don't leave with your cruiser without one!

I was coming home on my road bike when I stopped to help a gentleman who had a flat tire on a cruiser bike-he had tools and tube, but no pump! And it occurred to me I'm all set for fast flat repair for the road bike, but not for rides on the cruiser. This presents another dilemma most cruisers don't have quick release skewers and multi-tools don't have large box wrenches. With Portland's product this problem is solved! The box wrench doubles as a tire lever-genius! And the company thought enough to cover it with a tough plastic to prevent scratches to the rim. The wrench is solid and well built. I ride multiple bikes each week and I've been lucky not to get a flat on the cruiser. Now that I have the Wrencho I can extend my distance without worry.

best I've tried!

Over 30 years, I've tried almost every tire iron on the market. Countless plastic brands have broken when removing stubborn tires, even several of the Soma steel ones have had their ends cracked off. The Park TL-5 doesn't break, but they mar the rims. This one has done a fantastic job overall. It slips in nicely, even with the tighest tire beads, and hasn't broken or marred a rim. It's actually a joy to use. Although not small enough to fit in a seat pack, nor do I think I'll ever use the box wrench, it is a great investment for the shop. This is certainly one of those you get what you pay for tools.

useful

its nice to have a double threat in the bag, and its less than 7 inches which allows it to be carried on to flights. havent used it as a tire lever yet, but the 15mm box wrench obviously works well.
