Introducing POC's Lightest Sunglasses To Date
At a strikingly light 23g, POC's Elicit Sunglasses have been developed for the very highest levels of performance at the very lowest weight.
Designed around the ethos of reducing weight and adding style, the Elicit weighs so little they are barely noticeable while wearing but have a form that is sure to get you noticed. Featuring a completely frameless design and large wraparound lens with Clarity technology, the sunglasses give complete eye protection and an optimum field of view, so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
Snap-in hinges allow temples to break away from the lens in a fall, minimizing damage. They can easily be snapped back in place. A continuous curved lens w/ chamfers at the edge give exceptional coverage and keep weight to a minimum.
Interchangeable lenses allow swapping optics for the best vision under different lighting conditions.

Reviews
The POC Elicit sunglasses do a phenomenal job of keeping the wind out of my eyes - much better than the other sunglasses I was wearing. They are perfectly designed for cycling: oversized, lightweight, and do a great job staying secure while keeping the sun's glare and wind out of my eyes. The lenses are made by high end optics manufacturer Zeiss, they are designed in Sweden, and made in Italy - so you are getting what you're paying for. I bought the Uranium Black-Clarity model, which came with an additional clear lens that is very easy to swap out for low light riding conditions. I am very happy with these sunglasses, and would buy them again in an instant if I were to somehow lose mine.
I ordered because I liked the design and seems like it could work but was very skeptical. I have another four good sunglasses from a couple of other leading vendors. Well - lenses are by Carl Zeiss and the premium pricing is fully justified. IT IS THE BEST LENSES on the MARKET... I know.. "the best. etc" - well - I know I did not test them all but I have tried enough very very good sunglasses and these ones stand out for sure. I ordered another pair of POC a few weeks back and even though they appear to use the same technology - the lens quality was not the same...
I liked shape of glasses and how they fit. However, I am a contact lense wearer and noticed my eyes were getting dry and red. I switched to Oakley and my dry issue is gone. I think this has to do to the position of the anti fog vents.
These sunglasses are easy to see through while biking, but they are cheap! I would be at a light, adjusting them on my nose and the arm would pop off. Cue a green light. So annoying! They just broke in half when I was taking them off my face. At least I can get a new pair. Woof.
It took a while to get used to these glasses fit wise (they could benefit from having adjustable arms and/or nose guards)I found that the sweat from brows can accumulate inside the mens if too tight. Otherwise (ergo the 4stars), I like the lensthey address 90% of the light spectrum. Nice quality.
