The Grandest Canyon
When frost-covered leaves litter the ground but the singletrack beckons, reach for the Pearl Izumi Men's Canyon ECOLoft™ Jacket. This thoughtfully designed jacket will keep you warm without overheating when the intensity picks up. Two zippered hand pockets keep you warm off the bike, while a zippered chest pocket delivers the perfect amount of storage.
The unique design uses sustainable and highly breathable ECOLoft™ ActiVe SR insulation to quickly transfer excess heat, providing consistent warmth, so you can keep riding instead of adjusting layers. A two-way zipper makes it easy to quickly dump heat from a climb even if you're wearing a pack.
Should things get damp, the Canyon employs PI Dry® technology to shrug off mist and tire spray leaving you free to focus on the trail ahead. The tall 4" collar and under-helmet hood deliver comfort and heat retention for an unforgettable ride.
Features:
- ECOLoft™ ActiVe SR insulation is made with recycled content
- Tuned air-permeability balances warmth and breathability

Reviews
I wanted a comfortable jacket for trail riding that was better suited to the job than my Gore jacket that I used for road riding. This one is very warm but doesn't completely block the wind, which is good if you're the type of person that needs more ventilation when trail riding. I end up only using it for at or below freezing since I tend to run quite warm once my body has warmed up. I don't think it's worth it at MSRP but I was able to snag it on sale. It's excellent quality and seems to fit properly according to the provided sizing.
Excellent jacket for fat biking, hiking, and around town. In 6' and 180 pounds with long arms. The Large fits well with room to layer or lose enough for casual wear. I could have fit in a medium if I didn't have 20 pounds of COVID weight and if I wanted a form fit. The large allows a variety of uses. The hood is very well designed but fits under a helmet and not over. The jacket sleeve length is plenty long. The jacket has sleeve insulation on the front and lighter material under the arm. I've worn it to fatbike over a long sleeve base layer in 18 degree (f) weather and found it perfect. The cut is casual and not cycling fitted. It looks great and wears well. The blue is attractive.
Know that the jacket has typical hand pockets but no back cycling pockets.
Love this versatile garment.
Absolutely a great jacket for my commutes and trail rides as well. Not sure on the durability, especially with snags and such, since the texture seems like it would not do well. But other than that, I look forward to riding with it more. I also use to wear when on hikes or around town as well.
