The Pearl Izumi Men's AmFib Bib Tight is that ultimate tight everyone needs that can get them out the door when the mercury dips. In building these, Pearl Izumi combined their latest generation AmFIB® softshell and Thermal fleece fabric for a superior fit.
AmFIB softshell covers and protects the front of the leg, the seat and the Achilles tendon areas from the elements. Raw-edge bib straps reduce bulk and improve comfort, while new pockets in the rear provide storage for items like gloves and extra nutrition. PI Dry® permanent water repellent technology sheds precipitation to keep you warmer and dryer.
BioViz® reflective elements appear on the back of the calves, high enough for visibility above any shoe covers or booties, as well as on the hip. These tights do not have a chamois, allowing you to pull them over your favorite shorts or use them for other cold weather activities.
PLEASE NOTE: This product runs small. We recommend sizing up from your normal preferred size.

Reviews
I'm now on my third pair of these tights. They're warm, keep my dry and generally have had no complaints. Until this pair. As BTD mentions, they run small. PI's sizing tells me I need a medium. As I've worn these in the past, I went to the L that I usually buy. Not a chance that this size was going to work. I barely got them over my thighs. BTD, in a two minute chat, got an XL in my hands in a day after I called them. Those fit fine. Thanks BTD for your excellent service as usual.
PI? You guys messed up. The fabric is a little different than the last pair. Fabric just feels different and is a slightly different color than the last pair. Plus it measures a shade thinner. Yeah, I got out my calipers. I'd guess that you updated the fabric but forgot to update the pattern. That is the sort of rookie move that I'd not expect from you. Now I'm reluctant to order anything else from you unless I try it on first. You need to do better.
