Medium and High-Strength Threadlockers

Secure installation of threaded components starts with the Park Tool TLR Thread Locker. The TLR-1 and TLR-2 are medium and high-strength threadlockers that lock threaded assemblies and prevent them from moving.

This oil-tolerant compound is compatible with steel and aluminum.

When using the Park Tool TLR Threadlocker, keep in mind that some painted surfaces can be sensitive to thread lockers, retaining compounds, and primers. Test first on an inconspicuous area to see if it causes a stain or discoloration. Clean off any excess from painted surfaces immediately, then use as needed.

Please note: Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer must be used to prep all components, fasteners and carbon fiber surfaces prior to application of Park Tool threadlockers or retaining compound. Failure to do so could result in permanently bonded parts.
