Reviews
As with most Park tools, this is well built, strong, and should last a lifetime. I have a freestanding repair stand, but requires the front wheel to be off to use it and I wanted something for working on the bike with wheels on for certain tasks. A bench top unit seemed to fit my need. The mount is solid, very adjustable and the bike stays in the position you put the mount in, no drifting due to the weight of the bike.
The downside is its bulky to have something this big on your workbench all the time. I put some threaded inserts into the top of my work bench so I can attach or remove the mount as I need to with machine screws. It probably goes without saying, but you only have clear access to one side of the bike as opposed to 360 degrees of access with a freestanding repair stand. The other downside is price, its not cheap, but you can't beat the quality. Overall I'm very happy with the unit.
I have one and I like it a lot I used It A lot and I might order one from you gyes because the one that I have is getting rower out because I used it atmy bicycle shop in Cylinder Iowa
I have the tool temporarily clamped to a workbench in a backyard shed. I have only used the tool for a month or two, so I don't know about long term durability. However I've been pleased with the function to date.
This was a much needed add on to my bike repair tools. Its very easy to install to any work bench, 4 bolts and tighten a couple allen bolts and your done. The quality of this product seems to be good so far. The only concern I have is that part of it is made of a plastic composite. However has worked flawlessly so far. I would recomend this product to anyone wanting to do their own bike maintance.
