Promises Made Are Promises Kept — Even Through A Bag's Lifetime
For a tight closure in the 1980s, most bags had seams that were internally taped, which is still common practice at many manufacturers today. But stitched elements are always a weak point in bags and backpacks because the thread perforates, and thereby damages the material. For long term and intensive use, this kind of "waterproofness" simply wasn't good enough. But it all changed in 1984 when ORTLIEB introduced the so-classed high-frequency welding technology. The ORTLIEB Micro Two Saddle Bags are descended from this radical change, delivering reliable bags that can keep up with any adventure.
Built on a base of PU-coated nylon fabric, the Micro Two are two ultra-light saddlebags in different sizes — 0.5 liters and 0.8 liters. The roll closure keeps all your items safe while elastic bands provide a secure hold, no matter how full or how empty. The welded seams are at least as robust and waterproof as the material that surrounds them. Ranked IP 64, these mini bags are protected from water spray in any direction as well as totally protected from any penetrating dust. Thanks to its durable construction as well as convenient closure, the Micro Two are perfect for road bikes as well as mountain bikes so you can embrace the ultimate adventure.
ORTLIEB has been continually seeking ways to improve their products so that you are able to keep your favorite bag for a lifetime. Durability is crucial, but sustainability is also a high priority. As they are made in Germany, the one-of-a-kind ORTLIEB Micro Two Saddle Bags are completely PVC free so you can ride like you mean it. A bright reflector allows for high visibility, even in those low-light conditions we love to hate.

Reviews
I like that it keeps my stuff clean and dry,, and I have mounts on different bikes so I can switch from bike to bike easily. It's not the easiest bag to pack because it won't roll up very well if the contents aren't packed down far enough. Overall it's pretty cool.
I am really appreciating the waterproof folding design of the Ortlieb saddlebag, as well as the easy off saddle mount, which is handy when leaving your bike somewhere for more than a few minutes to prevent theft. Well done, Ortlieb
I love using this saddle bag, the 0.5 liter size is just big enough and the mount is much better than Velcro straps - I no longer have to worry about my seat post getting scuffed up. I have a Cambium carbon saddle and it is a little tricky getting the mount to stay in place but not that big a deal, I was just surprised at how much I had to tighten the screws. The convenience of this saddle bag is a bonus, being able to slide it out of the mount rather than undoing Velcro straps is quite nice.
i can fit (2) 700 x 35 tubes. (i don't ride tubeless) (3) tire levers, patch kit, multi tool, cartridge with head in this bag. the end rolls up making easy to add more stuff. it can be a little awkward packing this bag. quick release mount works well. overall a great bag that won't interfere with your pedal stroke.
I bought this to try and simplify moving repair kits between bikes with a bag that is secure (even on mtn and gravel bikes), water proof and a good value. I like everything about this bag, because it hits the marks on my criteria. I wish the extra saddle mount clips were cheaper, as I simply need the mount on all bikes I own and then have two kits. One if for tubeless and one is for tubed repairs.
I wanted an easy on/off bag big enough to hold all my stuff. This bag clips into a separate mounting bracket attached to the saddle. Easy one handed removal and replacement. Sturdy, will not accidentally fall off. I carry a gravel sized tube, CO2 inflator and spare cartridge, tire levers, disk brake removal tool, hex wrench multi tool, and a small cable lock with room to spare. The bag does not have a zipper closure. It's waterproof. The opening folds over and is secured by two elastic straps on either side. I have broken a few closure zippers in the past. This is a much better way to secure the opening. It's waterproof. I have never owned a waterproof saddle bag!
