Pull the apartment door closed behind you, swing yourself onto the saddle and you can hear the whirring of the hub. This is what freedom sounds like.
Fast, faster — Fork-Pack Plus with Quick-Lock S adapter system. The all-new and innovative adapter system is ideal for attaching bags like the waterproof Fork-Pack Plus to the fork of your bike. Weighing just 290 grams (including the adapter), this Fork-Pack offers approximately 5.8 liters of additional storage space for bike packing. With the help of the QLS adapter, this ultra-light bag with roll closure can be mounted on forks with eyelets or cage mounts intended for this purpose, as well as on forks without cage mounts, as long as the fork blades sport a constant diameter of 30 mm to 42 mm. QLS bags are primarily designed for attachment to the fork but can be attached to all vertical tubes using the accessories supplied.
The newly supersized ORTLIEB Fork-Pack Plus (315 grams) can easily and quickly be attached and removed from the adapter plate (85 grams) with just one hand in seconds. The Cordura bag is abrasion-resistant, PVC-free and, of course, sustainably made in Germany.

I love these bags. They attach and release so easily. They're waterproof. They're roomy. What's not to like. They are one of the best additions to my bikepacking setup. I would absolutely recommend these bags. If you're not sure, pull the trigger!
Goes on and off the bike so easy. I don�t notice them when riding at all. I put a down quilt in one side, and a down puffy, sleeping pad, and pillow in the other. Really frees up room for stuff. Have not tried in rain, but expect that, like everything Ortlieb makes, it will be entirely waterproof.
Very impressive. The fork pannier�s hold quite a lot of light and bulky stuff (I put my sleeping quilt in one side, and puffy jacket and rain jacket in the other side). Love the way it is rock solid when riding, but comes off so easily so you can stuff gear such as a quilt in it without being bent over hunched over the bike. Liked it so much I ordered another set for my daughter.
Mounting system way more streamlined. Especially when riding with the bag removed. Perfect size. I use them for cooking, food water purifier and hygiene systems. Great size to hang food up in bear country
