In collaborating with Team Sky to create a professional all-weather chain lube, Muc-Off’s research team designed and built a pioneering machine, the Chain Lube Optimisation Dyno (or C.L.O.D), to use in testing chain lube prototypes and provide detailed quantifiable data. With C.L.O.D., Muc-Off achieved their most exceptional chain lube yet, the Team Sky Hydrodynamic Lube: Tour Edition.
Each batch of the hydrodynamic lube is hand-blended in the UK and bottled in yellow Tour de France leader’s jersey themed containers. This lube is petroleum-free and extremely durable. Thanks to its extreme pressure additives and film- forming properties, this lube promotes a low friction environment that’s suited for all-weather riding and can last up to 400 miles with each application.
For easy application, the bottle has a built-in pipette –- no flimsy detachable pipe to keep track of. The lube itself contains a dye that illuminates under a UV light (which comes with the lube) to easily spot any parts of the chain that might be lacking lubrication.

I may have reviewed this before, but since Ive been using it a while and love it, heres an update. This is excellent lube, and as its name kind of implies, can be used in wet or dry conditions. Its pretty good in winter at not accumulating too much grit, and lasts about 100 miles or more, depending on weather. In dry conditions, its lasts much longer. The lubrication is top notch you can seriously tell the difference when you reapply.
I know some will knock the price, but Ive used various cheaper lubes, and hydrodynamic is just superior.
