Reviews
Since I have Look pedals on my other two road bikes, opted for a new set of Looks for my new Turbo Creo E-bike. I have the full-carbon version on my 2023 Aeroad, but chose these more-basic Looks for the Creo. These were a good value from BTD on sale, and solid performers.
All Look pedals I've had have always been a bit "stiff" when new, and reluctant to rotate to the desired clip-in position when off the bike. I've always inserted a tiny bit of silicone lubricant into the spindle area when new, that seems to work just fine. Pretty sure that the bearings are sealed, so any non-original lubricant shouldn't affect bearing performance.
Have just shy of 500 miles on these since installing. Clipping in is easy and consistent. Cleat is secure when clipped in, and also easy to clip out when you're ready. Quality feels solid, and no weird noises so far.
I had the carbon version of these for a couple of years. When they needed replacing due to a crash I decided to save a few bucks, accept a few extra grams, and buy these instead. Totally worth it. Can't tell the difference between the two. Great pedals all around.
I use these pedals on my Calfee Tetra Pro road bike.
Click-in is easy and secure. I've experienced zero squeaking from the cleat-pedal interface, which I hugely appreciate, and the pedal bearings spin very smoothly. So far, these pedals seem to be a quiet work-horse component that functions perfectly.
