Description
The pedal for those famous gran fondos.
The pedal has written pages of LOOK history, and the KEO 2 MAX is an excellent example of their expertise. With its wide, 500mm2 contact area and composite body, it offers state-of-the-art technology for full power transfer, in an affordable package.
The carbon version shaves off some grams and adds extra stiffness for improved power transfer, and has a fresh, modern look.
Features:
- A mere 125 grams in your hand, barely noticeable underfoot
- Wide, stainless steel contact area for excellent stability thru the pedal stroke
- Includes one pair of pedals, 2 LOOK grey mid-float cleats, and screws

Really Enjoy!
I got these to supplement Favero Assioma pedals on a bike that has a crank power meter. I use the wellgo cleats for my Assiomas. These look pedals don't fit quite perfectly with the Wellgo cleats, but they're close enough. They clip in and out securely, but the click isn't quite as strong. Not an issue, though. Would buy again.

favorite workhorse pedals
The pedals might not be as fancy as the KEO Blades, but in my experience they hold up a lot longer. I use them on my road bike as well as my off-road drop bar bikes (when I expect to be mostly on the bike) so they see plenty of abuse and keep on going.

Return to the source
After several years with Shimano Ultegra pedals on my Eddy Merckx EM3, I have returned to my favored pedals from Look. I am an "old school guy" and have ridden with Look over past years and simply prefer the feel of these pedals as well as the ease of ingress/egress. The Keo 2 Max Carbon are light, have a simple clean look to them with plenty of freedom of movement. Very easy tension adjustment. The manufacture's description of "improved foot stability and comfort" are accurate.

Love KEO 2 Max Carbon Pedals!
I love these pedals. I've been using a Look style pedal since they became available (started with the DuraAce (I think) probably around 1990). They are light, durable, easy to service (though hardly need it) and just a great product. And incredibly affordable, used by World Tour riders. Good enough for Movistar's Enrique Mas is good enough for me.

Subtle improvements to an already good pedal
I switched to Look from Shimano years ago for the simple fact that the float in Look allows the toe to pivot more than Shimano, which tend to hold the toe stationary and allow only the heel to pivot. A finicky left knee forced the change, and my knee is happier now. Though Look boasts of a larger contact area now over the previous Keo, I honestly cannot feel a difference. But where I do notice a significant improvement is how the pedal hangs when not clipped in. With my old Keos a no look clip-in was a hit-or-miss affair, whereas with the latest version it's a hit nearly every time. That's important because it may save you some embarrassment occasionally or possibly some bruises if you ever get caught on a steep uphill and need to clip in quickly.

RETURN IF AN OLD FRIEND
After switching from Look to Time pedals more than 20 years ago, the return has been a great experience. The ease of ingress and egress fits my needs perfectly. I couldn't be happier!

Great updated pedal from Look
I used the original "Delta" Look pedal for 33 years until the base of those pedals wore to the point that the pedal to cleat contact became too sloppy. These new pedals are lighter and have a stainless steel wear surface that I expect will hold up thru the years. Great pedals...

I've been riding Look since they invented the clip in category. Reliable, serviceable and a good value relative to similar quality options. Love the Look!

I wanted to test out whether the lighter carbon pedals with expanded surface actually made a difference. They definitely feel like they do!
I normally use Look but only their less expensive. This product is used on my triathlon racing bike and I love them.

Professional product
Use for training, I actually prefer it over my blade pedals being able to set ease of release of cleat.
