Good upgrade from VIS 350
I chose this light because my old VIS 350 has started to fall apart a little (case coming apart and internal usb board not rigid) and wasn't confident it would survive long or in the rain.
Overall this light seems like a good upgrade, very similar but slightly brighter. I do feel like the battery life seems somewhat shorter than I remember the 350 had, but it does offer 50+% increase in lumens, so I suppose that is somewhat expected.

My second VIS 500 light
I bought one of these about a year ago, and saw this on sale so I bought another one so I would have one for each bike. But I ended up putting them both one one bike when I ride in the dark, which has worked out great and given me a few options: depending on the road/trail I'm on, I shine one higher and one lower, or one a little high and to the right and low and to the left. I can also turn one off and just ride with one and have a spare if I run low on battery. For me, having the flexibility of two is better than one bright light.

Very Bright on High
I live rural so I put 2 on the bar and ride like that. The only thing is these babies get very hot on highest setting.. But on very dark roads these light up everything in front of you..

So good I bought 4 of these
Extremely bright for the size and cost. We use at lowest brightness setting which is plenty bright for urban riding. Rechargeable feature is a must for bikes. The 3 AAA cell lights we tried all flickered and changed modes when hitting bumps. These dont.

Ultra bright light.
This light is almost too bright. I use it on the dimmest setting which also extends battery life. The strobe setting has too long of a cycle. It should strobe more often. High quality materials.

They tell you to turn it down.
The Light in Motion is necessary for those early morning commutes. The ease of operating and the battery life is exceptional. Mounting is secure on helmets, handle bars and forks with the bungee strap provided. Bright enough that those caught in the beam shield their eyes even when pointed down and away. (Some say you need to turn it down) with 4 modes of brightness you can see/be seen and thats what this piece is about.

Needs instructions
I havent used this light much yet, but will say that it feels solid. It took me a while to figure out that the light doesnt detach from the attachment strap. Had to go to YouTube to learn that. Therefore, the company could help new users with a more instructive insert to explain set-up.

Unobtrusive and reliable
This line of headlamps came recommended by a friend. I have found that the luminosity rating on some of the products tends toward optimistic, overwhelmingly so for some. This little guy performs better than others I've tried with allegedly higher output. It also has a well thought out mounting mechanism. It appears I've found my trusty headlamp!
