Description
The Lezyne Alloy Drive is an ultra-compact hand pump for MTB use. It's made from 100% custom CNC-machined aluminum for precise and lightweight operation.
Despite its small stature, the Alloy Drive fills fat tires with ease. The secret is HV (High Volume) technology, which inflates typical mountain bike tires to riding pressure with 30% fewer stokes.
An integrated Flex hose creates an airtight seal against the valve, eliminating the need to hold the pump head during inflation and helping prevent damage to fragile Presta needles. For easy removal, the ABS (Air Bleed System) allows users to release air pressure in the pump hose after inflation -- no elbow grease required. The head is reversible for use with Presta or Schrader valves and the hose conveniently stores inside the pump handle when not in use.
The Alloy Drive hand pump is available in size Small which measures 170mm long and weighs 112 grams (claimed), or Medium which measures 216mm long and weighs 128 grams (claimed). Inflates tires up to 90 PSI (3.2 Bar). For use with Presta or Schrader valves. Composite frame mounting bracket included.

Reviews
The pump itself is a work of art like everything else Lezyne makes. But I bought this pump specifically to mount on my gravel bike. The mount is an absolute shame. It sticks out nearly a full inch further than it needs to. It can only be installed one way and if you need to install it on the right downtube the handle will easily come loose from the bracket and fall down and hit your crankset. So you're really limited to the left side of your seat tube. I'm disgusted by the poor engineering considering everything I've gotten for Lezyne prior to this was to notch.
Excellent compact hand pump for gravel/mtb/cross tires. Aluminum body is stylish, light, and durable. I like the extendable hose feature which makes it easier to pump the tire up in any position you find comfortable. I also like the built-in valve core remover built into the hose (though I had to figure that out for myself). The only minor knock on this pump is the valve attachment...when removing the hose after pumping my tire up, it kept removing the valve core! I tightened the core, repumped the tire...and it happened again! It did this 3 or 4 more times until the core finally held. Not sure how this could be remedied but just be aware...
Purchased this after I could not inflate a tube that had a short valve stem. I think if I'd had this pump with me then, I could have threaded the inflation tube on and made it work. The pump seems like it will be durable. My one concern is that the cap on the back end opposite of the inflation side is open while you are working and I'm worried about grit and dirt getting into the pump. My buddy used it and was impressed and he may end up buying one of his own.
Had the opportunity to use this on 2 occasions on two long rides. It did took almost 5 min to respectively inflate to a rideable pressure (road bike). Moral of the story is .. it kept us riding but carry a spare tube.
I have a similar Lezyne pump that does higher pressure for road bike tires and it's worked fantastically when I've needed it. I bought this one to keep with my mountain bike since it's designed for higher volume and lower pressure. Construction looks solid. I like the design with the flexible hose stored in the body of the pump. It mounts very easily on water bottle bosses. It's also very light weight for a well built pump.
I own a fat-bike (Pugsley). I needed a pump that can push a lot of air in as few stroke as possible. I also wanted to be able to do prestas AND schraders since my son and I ride different valves but only carry one pump.
This pump does those and a lot more. The stem hose is great for letting me get in a comfortable pumping position and not risk breaking the stem. Also lighter than most portable floor pumps. The velcro is nice to keep the pump attached to the frame clamp (even while on mounted on the car), and the frame clamp is designed to prevent the pump from accidentally opening.
The only con is that if you tighten the hose too much to the presta, you risk tightening to the core itself and removing it when you unscrew. Doing this results in the loss of all of the air in the tire in a brief couple seconds. Since this is fixable by correct usage of the hose, I can't really dock it a star. But I've made the mistake twice now and have learned to do it right. Still love the pump.
Small version which takes a little more time to operate fits into a 1 liter seat bag suitable for rides (shrader valves) with the grand kids. The medium version is frame mounted for commuting and adult rides. Both do their job very well. Holding and operating a pump on a presta stem has its drawbacks. The connection hose has answered the need for these old hands. Works great every time and the pressure relief for presta valves is an added bonus. Well designed product for the price and if you can find a sale all the better.
This is a wonderful portable bicycle pump. The beauty in the design is the hose stored inside the pump and the ease to fill your tires. After owning Park, Planet Bike and Blackburn portable pumps and having difficulty sealing the pump to the tube stem to fill the tube it was refreshing to find the Lezyne pump.
This is a terrific pump and versatile as it supports both presta and schrader valves. I was able to assist another bike rider on a group ride who needed air to fill his presta valve tubes and did not have a schrader adapter.
Was stranded when my CO2 cartridges were not able to fill my short stemmed spare (mistake with my rims). Very light pump and small package but able to pump tires to 100psi quickly. Carry it in my jersey without issue. In the long run this pump will pay for itself without buying cartridges.
Bought this to use on my touring bike but it works so well I also got one for my Pinarello Dogma as well. Even without CO2 you can get pumped up to riding pressure very easily with this and it is small enough to mount next to water bottle cage and have no issues with clearance etc.
