Description
Don't sweat it.
Push your indoor intervals to the limit without worrying that your sweat will corrode your frame and bearings by attaching the Garmin Tacx Sweat Cover to your bike. The absorbent material soaks up perspiration as you ride instead of getting all over your components, and a built-in transparent phone sleeve lets you stay connected to online training apps while you ride.
Universally attaches to handlebars and seatpost. Max phone dimensions: 138 mm long x 68 mm wide.

Product seems to be well constructed, but, I rarely use the smartphone pocket. My iphone XS Max fits very tight and touchscreen proves a tad less reliable than I prefer. There are good alternatives to a sweat cover ... which, by the way, a sweat cover for me is 100% necessary!
The sweat cover protects the frame and gives me a place for the phone. The plastic is kind of thick so the touch screen on the pone can be affected. Also getting the phone back out can be tough at times. It is a tight fit.
Bike Tires Direct had the beast deal on this.
I was initially skeptical that this could work effectively. I can SWEAT, and I mean ALOT. This will catch probably 90% of the sweat from hitting the top and down tube, which keeps it from dripping down to cage screws and the crank area. I have a Trek Domane, which has a down tube storage section. Prior to using this cover, the storage door and recess would literally fill with sweat and make its way into the storage (and onto all of the wires and lines in the down tube). Shockingly, the cover blocks nearly every drop from getting to that area now. I can use them for a couple of weeks without any development of sweat stench. And, I have washed them in the machine wash (hang dried, though), and they seem fine so far.
I should add that I do not use the clear cell phone slot because I use a large towel over the stem/head tube and handlebars to keep that area dry. It would probably keep the stem dry, but there's too much there for me not to protect the area with the towel.
Hi - I notice when some people give negative reviews theyre all mad and stuff, but this isnt one of those ... so Tacx is cool and I have the Neo 2 and its great. So I ordered this Sweatcover thing and so this is just a problem of buying online and not seeing it in person.. my iPhone X in its case doesnt fit in this.. and I dont have the iPhone X plus big one, I have the small one... anyway I ended up buying a a rubber mount for my stem that I can easily put my phone on and off while bike is on the trainer... as far as a sweat cover.. hmm I need to figure that out still .. this would work for that but youre paying a bit extra for the Tacx brand and a phone holder that is probably too small
