With global satellite service, reach out for help at a moment's notice if things start going south. The bright color display allows for built-in topographic mapping and point-to-point navigation thanks to the internal GPS receiver.

While we've come to expect that Garmin's devices will deliver high-end tracking and navigation, this device uses preloaded DeLorme topographic maps to help blaze new trails when out on the lam. But blazing new trails unprepared is a foolhardy endeavor, luckily the inReach Explorer+ has an interactive SOS system that allows emergency text messages anywhere in the world. Keep the lines of communication open when cell service fails, and always be prepared for the worst.

The inReach Explorer+ houses its adventure-making navigation and communication technologies in a water-resistant rugged body. A rechargeable lithium battery lasts up to 100 hours while in tracking mode or 30 days when in power save mode.
