FI'ZI:K enters the mountain bike shoe world in a big way. The all-mountain Terra Artica X2 mountain bike shoes take their winter weather protection very seriously.
The waterproof and breathable eVent membrane sheds water and snow extremely well, simultaneous using Direct Venting Technology to remain breathable from the inside. The outer ripstop woven fabric resists tearing and ripping, allowing you to take on the toughest trails all winter long. Don't worry about your feet getting cold and clammy. The inside of these boots are insulated with a cozy fleece liner, keeping your feet warm and dry when the temperatures drop.

When the situation arises and you're stuck having to hike-a-bike, having good traction to push through snow and muck is essential. The X2 outsole of these shoes showcases how much versatility they have, on and off the bike.
The ultra-grippy Vibram Megagrip rubber tread makes these shoes a pleasure to walk in whether it's on the trail or through the doors of the coffee shop. The compressed EVA midsole provides the stability you want, striking the perfect balance between efficient pedal performance and flexibility.
The Artica X2 is the new off-road cycling shoe allowing you to keep on going when the conditions turn less favorable.

I ordered these when they were on sale. Great price from BTD.I bought both a 42 and a 43 since I was not sure about sizing and socks and all that. The photo that BTD has posted on the website does not show it,but there is a pull tab on the back of the neoprene cuff which makes getting the shoe on less strenuous than the older versions that did not have a pull tab. My normal size is 42 and a 42 would have been fine in this shoe. It has plenty of room for thick socks and the shoe feels terrific.Good stiffness for riding, but a great sole for walking or hiking.But holy heck the zipper on the neoprene cuff is painful.I do not have big ankles and it was like a piranha had sunk its teeth into me, no matter what socks or sock combos I tried.Shoe is good,but who can wear it with the cuff design?Back to my Castelli shoe covers.
