The Favero Assioma DUO Double-Sided Power Meter Pedals have been designed for high-performance training sessions. IAV Power System:
Many power meters calculate the power using the Average Angular Velocity (AVG) per rotation, instead of the instantaneous Angular Velocity (REAL) value: this may introduce an additional error, up to 4.5% compared to the declared accuracy. Assioma, thanks to its exclusive IAV Power system and an integrated gyroscope, measures the actual instantaneous angular velocity to guarantee the same 1% degree of accuracy with any style of pedaling, even with oval chainrings.
Automatic Temperature Compensation:
Rain, snow, mud, or sweltering heat: Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) ensures exact, consistent watt measurements in any weather condition at temperatures between -10°C and 60°C.
Waterproof, Resistant and the Lightest Ever Made:
The lightest and most compact pedal-based power meter made by Favero: with no protruding elements, it does not interfere with the pedalling. Not even when cornering. Protected by a bi-component resin block, the power meter sensor is extremely resistant to shocks and fully waterproof.

I have had these pedals for almost two years and have experienced as much of their ability and their if any shortcomings. The metrics are more than most cyclists could use or interpret to be honest. The accuracy of these pedals as to a standard in the cycling world.......who knows. I do know they are very consistent on repeat rides with similar output by myself. The only maintenance done to them in 2 years has been rebuild the pedal bearings which come in a kit. I am surprised BTD doesn't carry the rebuild bearing kit but it is easily sourced here in the states. The battery life is very long considering they are constantly measuring per pedal stroke. I get about a month of riding before needing to be charged and I ride almost daily. Worth the money? Most definitely and if you have more than one bike can be switched over unlike a built-in crank power meter.
Super accurate dual power meter. Install is simple, as is calibration. Pairs well to my edge 1030 plus, haven't experienced any dropouts at all. Definitely would not hesitate to buy again.
Really great pedals. Easy to connect and calibrate.
Also got rid of my cadence sensor because these pedals already have one built in.
Tons of data provided using the Garmin App.
Highly recommended and great price.
