The Castelli Men's Do.Di.Ci Jacket is the ultimate jacket for higher intensity rides in cool conditions. Castelli Ristretto technology allows a small amount of air to come in and evaporate sweat, 12 times more than previous technologies.
The secret to Ristretto technology is engineered air permeability that means they can create fabrics that are mostly windproof but allow a very small amount of air to pass through the fabric, which carries away more sweat to keep you drier.
How much air? "Dodici" is Italian for "twelve," which is how much more breathable it is than its predecessor Gabba design. The fabric is extremely stretchy, so you have unparalleled fit. What about the rain? The fabric won't keep out more than a bit of road spray, but you can pack an Ultra Rain Cape or Squall Shell Jacket in the center pocket if your ride has a chance of rain.

Reviews
This jacket finally delivers the two key features essential in a cold weather outer shell: it blocks the wind from excessively cooling the skin while simultaneously letting moisture escape. There are plenty of jackets available but this is my first choice for temperature ranges between 35 and 50.
Fit is typical Costello: aero race for cycling bodies. This doesn't leave a lot of room for multiple layers required in colder temperatures.
Length is just right and sleeves are long, but let you tuck them inside gloves without leaving a gap .
I've used mine several times now and it is now a favorite. Not cheap, but worth it if you're riding frequently in cold, dry conditions.
