Extra warmth and wind protection in the front with high stretch make the Castelli Men's Competizione Bibtight comfortable in cool to cold conditions.

This is a rider's tight, pure and simple. It's engineered to cover as wide of a temperature range as possible, from cool days to below freezing when you might opt for full wind protection. It is deceptively simple, but the clean lines hide a wealth of technology inside. The tight uses three different fabrics to provide the right coverage for each part of the body.

The front fabric, from waist to knee, is Castelli's Core Due fabric, a tightly knit heavier-weight polyester/nylon blend that blocks much of the wind. The polyester part is next to the skin for active push-pull wicking, and the yarns are hollow core, meaning that the dead air space in the middle provides additional insulation. On the back of the thighs and butt, a high-stretch fleece fabric aids the fit.

From the knee to the ankle, Castelli's Thermoflex offers perfect warmth and stretch, and the single seam on the inside of the leg prevents rubbing around the knee. The tight is finished off with a flat raw-cut ankle opening, flat knit bib straps, and the KISS Air2 seat pad.
