Not quite 12cm
Material is great, keeps your feet dry and warm, but it's not a 12cm cuff. More like 10cm.

Great sock for fall/winter cycling
Being an outdoor enthusiast, I have been using merino wool socks for years. These socks are a great weight for cycling; not too bulky, but still provide enough coverage and warmth. They are typical Castelli quality. On sale, these socks are a great deal. I have multiple pairs that I rotate through during the winter season.

these are deluxe!!
Not cheap, but wool isn't. they feel warm above 80 degrees F, but great daily socks in the bay area.

I like the variety. . .
The number of color options on this sock is what attracted me to it. It is a lighter wool so it works well during the mild winter in Dallas. But on those colder days, I would opt for something with a little more thickness.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable socks. They've kept me warm on some cold mornings, but I still end up getting numb toes. Need shoe covers.

Socks for the long haul
I like a longer sock and these do the trick nicely. They just spent 10.5 hours on my feet during a 200k brevet and they kept my feet warm and dry...great quality...check the sizing. I have 11.5 feet and take the XL

You know they are good, when
your significant other takes them and refuses to give them back. My wife took these from when they were new and and has worn them ever since. In her words, warm soft and not itchy at all. You're not going to take them back are you?!?!? Don't you love me . . .

Great winter socks
These socks are warm, stylish and comfortable. My only complaint is i wish they were taller. They're fine with tights, but I could use some extra length when wearing with pants while commuting. Regardless, they're never itchy, don't stink, and look great. I wear a size 9 shoe and got the LXL and the fit fine, even after shrinking slightly in the wash.

Warm & Stylish.
I needed some warm socks for wither riding so when I saw these I liked the look and decided to give them a try. I'm very happy with them. Soft and warm and the fit is great. After several washings they still feel the same as the first wearing. They are a good height to stay up under bib-tights. I wear them with shoe covers and my feet have been warm down to the low 30's. When it gets really cold I add a toe warmer on top of my instep. An added bonus is that I like the look of these socks. Like other Castelli garments the quality is very good.

Great cycling sock
Socks fit and perform better than the thinner versions of cycling socks. Worked great to keep feet warm in cooler temperatures. Plus they look great.
