The new aero single-chainring crankset developed for Record X is the result of an engineering project aimed at combining structural stiffness, mechanical efficiency, lightness, and functional aerodynamics—without ever compromising the distinctive design that defines every Campagnolo product.

The chainring, made from aerospace-grade aluminum, features a completely redesigned tooth profile, directly evolved from the experience gained with Ekar. This development ensures optimal chain engagement, consistent traction even through dead spots, and outstanding stability—even on the most demanding terrain. The new surface finish enhances wear resistance, delivering consistent performance even under extreme conditions.

Within an integrated platform approach, the chainrings are shared with the Super Record range, ensuring maximum compatibility. Paired with the 13-speed cassette X (10–48), this creates a complete, advanced, and highly versatile drivetrain system, offering riders extensive freedom of choice. In the same ecosystem logic, Super Record X cassettes are also compatible, further expanding modularity and configuration possibilities.
