The Assos Men's HabuTightsMille_s7 are designed for those that set out to ride year round, regardless of what the weather forecast has in store. Designed specifically for warm, dry riding in early winter conditions, these tights feature Assos' RX Medium fabric, offering a fleece-lined inner face that efficiently wicks moisture away while retaining body heat and blocking wind. Externally, the Assos Water Repellent (AWR) technology prevents road spray, drizzle, or a passing shower from penetrating through and chilling you to the bone.
Inside the HabuTightsMille_s7, Assos utilized the same chamois insert that is in their race-worthy T.equipe_s7 bib short. Featuring 8mm of memory foam padding, this chamois offers relief where it's needed, and fills the gap between skin and saddle. Two bits of technology separate Assos' tights from the competition, their GoldenGate and Integrated front Padding Protection (IPP) technologies. These two technologies do away with the traditional chamois-tight joining, doing away with restrictive, excessive seams and maximizing comfort and support in the process. The GoldenGate removes the central side stitching, allowing the chamois to move with the rider through the full range of motions necessary in a pedal stroke. The IPP removes excessive seams, reduces friction, and improves the fit by extending the front of the chamois to the end of the main body's panel.
Assos designs their clothing to fit with the changing seasons, as dictated by their Assos Layering System (ALS). The Men's HabuTightsMille_s7 sits in the early winter Climarange, or temperatures ranging from approximately 40º – 60º Fahrenheit. Perfect for mild winters.
Perfect for mild winters in Southern California. Low 40's to high 50's Nothing fits like Assos- so comfortable for the long ride. I'm 5'7 134 lbs, wear a small in the bib tights and shorts.
I've worn these in mild rain and stayed comfortable. They are water repellent to a degree, but still breathable.
