The Assos Men's EQUIPE RS RAPIDFIRE Chronosuit S11 is their skinsuit relied on by professional athletes for competition in time trials and on the track, refined with all-new textiles to decrease weight and drag. With no storage pockets, an internal radio slot, and a transparent race number window, the RAPIDFIRE is 100% tuned for racing.

Featuring a slate of new textiles, the RAPIDFIRE represents the pinnacle of Assos aerodynamic technology, proven in the wind tunnel and designed with WorldTour feedback for Tudor Pro Cycling and Swiss Cycling. The new textiles are Hawk-01 on the upper body, Eagle-01 on the sleeves and lower back, and the highly compressive Kompressor material on the legs. The combination provides aerodynamic upgrades with competition-tuned compression and ultralight breathability.

The insert is also upgraded, with a smaller footprint, a softer top sheet, and the decreased friction of our free-floating goldenGate 2.0 construction.

Certain finishing details, like the front radio pocket and the full-length front zip, add additional aerodynamic benefits and convenience for natural breaks or unzipping while warming up. Other finishing details were omitted to eliminate weight and drag – most notably storage pockets, which confirms the RAPIDFIRE as a race-day necessity. Assos also recommend always using a race number in the rear window to ensure coverage against the sun.

Features:

• Featured Fabrics: Hawk-01 is a close-fitted woven textile with a rhombus construction that offsets surface turbulence, reducing drag from laminar airflow. Eagle-01 is a similar textile with a wind-stripe structure that channels airflow to further reduce drag. The all-new Type.959Kompressor is a proprietary woven textile that's more breathable, more cooling, and more compressive than previous Kompressor materials, with increased abrasion resistance, integrated anti-slip properties, and UPF 50+.
• Construction/Fit: The most aggressive, most aerodynamic, most compressive equipment. The legs are cut longer than a typical racingFit design.
• Racing Engineered: A number pocket and radio storage equip the Chronosuit for competition. Internal cable routing maintains clean aerodynamics.
• Bonded and Raw Cut: Bonded seams and raw-cut legs eliminate bulk and reduce drag and irritation.
• skinGrip Finish: Anti-slip finishing secures the legs in place without excessive pressure.
• RS Chrono S11 Insert — Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono: Compressive foam materials in a single-layer 9mm racing platform that minimizes volume and weight. Thermoformed shaping eliminates ridges and irritation.
• RS Chrono S11 Insert — 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
• RS S11 Insert — goldenGate 2.0: The insert is attached at front and rear with floating sides and center, letting it move with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on the sides reduce volume and friction throughout the pedal stroke.
