Searching for the ultimate lightweight bag to take on adventures with you without weighing you down? Look no further than the Apidura Racing Saddle Pack for just the right amount of room to hold your ride essentials. This is the first rear pack dedicated to ultra-distance cycling competition and audax. Featuring a sleek design with a compact capacity, the bag is ideal for storing light, compressible items over vast distances.
Constructed from an ultralight, waterproof laminate developed for Apidura. The seat bag weighs less than 210g and securely fastens with a sturdy three-point attachment system. It's designed to fit ergonomically under the saddle, minimizing sway and reducing drag. This bag is enhanced with powerful Hexalon, a bespoke laminated fabric developed specifically for Apidura. Designed to fit the demands of ultra-distance cycling competition and audax, the material is waterproof and lightweight with strong tear and abrasion resistance. A roll-top closure provides adjustable capacity while tailored webbing, straps, and buckles shed extra weight for a simple setup. This allows for ultimate ease of use when every second matters.
The Apidura Racing Saddle Pack has all the little details that you look for when shopping around for a new bike bag. Durable rubberized Hypalon nylon provides extra protection against friction and puncture while Woojin buckles add strength and reliability. Light attachment points are laser-cut into the fabric, increasing rider safety without adding unnecessary weight. This high-quality saddle bag even features a high-contrast reflective design to enhance visibility in all light conditions.

Reviews
It's not the cheapest bag out there by far but the materials and lightness make up for the higher cost. I compared this bag to a bag that was closer to the $40 mark on amazon and this was one was 200g lighter. That was significant enough for me to make the purchase. The bag packs well and has a vent that allows the air to escape when you roll it up which helps get things tight inside. I didn't have any issues with attachment or the velcro which is arranged in a way that doesn't rub the bibs. I wasn't able to test water proofness but overall it seems like the bag will seal out water really well.
I use this bag on a Surly Midnight Special for my road rides.
The bag is 7L, just big enough for a tool kit, spare tube, lightweight jacket or vest, spare glasses, gloves.
If you carry a lot of gear, its not going to be big enough; but for my day rides its perfectly sized.
It has a nice automatic one-way valve so its easy to squeeze the air of it.
The bag has some high visibility yellow strips and you can mount a taillight on it as well.
I have had this bag on the bike for about 2 months and I like it very much.
I also have an Apidura frame bag on another bike...they make a quality product IMHO.
