The Apidura Packable Visibility Vest is an indispensable item for night riding, audax, ultra-distance, and bikepacking.
With 360-degree graphics designed around on-bike position and night-time reflectivity, this is a must-have addition to any rider's pack list. Adjustable straps with eight different positions ensure fit for a wide range of body types whilst also allowing the vest to be worn over bulky layers (such as a down jacket) or, a low-profile item like a hydration vest.
Constructed from a lightweight, breathable and wicking mesh fabric, the Packable Visibility Vest weighs just 106g (SM/MD). Packing into an integrated pocket for ease of storage, it can comfortably fit into a jersey and deployed when required.
For choosing your size, we recommend measuring your chest circumference whilst wearing your regular riding gear. With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest with a flexible measuring tape. For riders that fit both sizes, we recommend sizing down.

They say you can't put a price on safety, but Apidura apparently has. That said, I love this vest. As an early morning rider (5:45am, year round), I ride in the dark a lot. I'm also a randonneur, so I'm on a variety of roads at all hours. For my riding, I need reflectivity and high visibility. This vest has both while being virtually weightless- I forget that I have it on most of the time. The front buckles are spaced well enough that I can unzip my gilet or jacket as needed. Since this vest meets US and Euro reflectivity standards, I can use it on sanctioned RUSA and ACP events. It's well made, doesn't flap at speed, and is nicely ventilated (although I haven't ridden in mid-summer humidity with it yet). Looking forward to wearing it on the upcoming RUSA fl'che.
