Topeak

I got this pump to make home installation of tubeless tires easier. I haven't yet used it in that capacity, but it works well as a standard pump. I like that it's metal with a large base and doesn't easily tip over. The longish air hose makes it easy to reach the valve stem and the head engages easily and reliably locks into place. The gauge seems to read a few PSI lower than my digital gauge so I add another 3-4 PSI to the target pressure to compensate. The tubeless tires slowly lose pressure as it is, so that can't hurt. I'll try to remember to post again after I've used it to mount some tires.

I bought a Dewalt battery inflator to maintain tire pressure in my bikes, but the hose that was supplied was short and you had to hold it on the valve while inflating, ordered the Topeak Smart Head Hose Upgrade Kit and problems solved. I added a connector and extended my existing hose giving me great length and with the valve lock lever is a game changer. I just lock the head to the valve, dial the pressure that I want on the Dewalt, push start and it shuts off when it reaches the set pressure, pop the valve lock, remove the air hose, screw down the presta and I'm done.

I've been a fan of this stand for over a decade and recently purchased a second one after trying a similar, but lesser stand by another brand and returning it for this one. It's more adjustable than other options, which makes storing bikes of different styles and sizes so much less of a nuisance. Setup is super simple, it's not difficult to change it's position/location and it doesn't stick out visually, which is also a plus. I think the only thing I don't like about it is that I sometimes wish that both bikes could hang from the upper shaft so that the lower bike could be a bit higher off the floor.

I bought the Topeak JoeBlow Pro X Floor Pump as a replacement to a decade old floor pump. The Topeak JoeBlow Pro X Floor Pump is a superior floor pump that I would highly recommend. I really like that the pressure gauge is positioned higher up on the unit to clearly see the pressure read out. The stance of the base is solid and does not rock in any way, metal base is flat. I also like the fact that the extension tube can be used for short or long scenarios, I will often pump my tires up while my bike is still mounted on the hitch rack on the back of my vehicles. Lastly, the head unit that attaches to the bike tire valve is great. You press it on to and it secures and it holds and locks with no leakage.
