I really like the fit of these shoes. I did replace the OEM sock liner with a molded insole and that works much better with my 60 year-old feet. Other than that, a great fit. I think, however, the BOA flip-up tabs could be better replaced with simple pop-up dials like other brands. The lower BOA adjustment gets in the way of my toe caps this spring, so less off the foot ends up covered. Haven't ridden anything north of 80km here in the Northeast US this season. It's been a bit too brisk and windy and rainy to confidently get out on a nice day. Soon...

Was looking for a shoe for indoor winter cycling and SiDi has always been my brand. I normally wear their Mega (wide) size, but the prices for something that I'm only using for winter training was out of reach. These are not "Mega's" so I took one size larger and they work just fine. Catching an end-of-year sale really helped my frugal experiment.
They are quite stiff, consistent with my expectations for Sidi's.
Sorry I can't rate their 'road worthiness' but wanted to provide something.

Sidi Genius has been around for a while now with this being version 10.
Shoes, like saddles, can be a very personal thing. I have had several iterations of this shoe and they have never disappointed. The quality and durability of the product have always been there for me. Also, the replaceable heal and straps is great. I have replaced both on several pairs and that helps keep the overall lifetime cost down since the uppers and soles are close to bulletproof.

I've ridden Sidis since 2017 (Dominator 7) and these Doninator 10s are my second pair. They've been on my feet for almost two years now. The fit is quite generous both in width, length, and volume, which was a vast improvement over the Dominator 7s. My feet are between sizes, roughlt 12.5 so I'm wearing 47 wide ("mega" as Sidi likes to call them). For a mountain shoe, these are quite comfortable. Full disclosure, I wear these on all my bikes: road and mountain. The soles are sufficiently stiff to transfer power while the tread make walking in them quite comfortable. As a matter of fact, I'm writing this about 2 hours after my ride and they are still on my feet! Some folks might think these are too voluminous, but the simple solution is to use inserts and maybe upgrade the insoles. I adjust the insoles seasonally to accomodate thicker wool socks in the winter. I do ride 12 months a year! The only drawback are the Sidi-proprietary BOAs, which are a bit cumbersome to use with the flip up lever and the side release buttons, especially with thicker gloves. BUT, how much will you actually adjust these on a ride? Maybe once? Maybe twice? The Sidi Boas have not been a detriment to these shoes. I've compared these to Lake MX238's, which is a gravel shoe. The Sidis fit better, are more comfortable and don't cause pinch pain across the bridge of your foot. The Sidi strap alleviates that pinch point, so you can rachet them in as much as you like. I will definitely "re-up" with a pair of these when the time comes.
