The Spurcycle Better Bell (black) is compact, discrete and has a nice initial ring and good harmonics when it decays. A classy and well made bell. You can control the loudness by not allowing a full hit when you pull back the spring loaded hammer.

The bell has a pleasing long ring. It is also small, and doesn't take up a lot of valued handlebar space.

Bought this bell as a thank you for supporting the company start-up. Followed the engineering steps with great interest. Installation was interesting, their engineering solutions were well thought out. After many years of use the bell still rings true and long. The quality in a well-designed product is much appreciated. I live and ride in rural Colorado, I always greet grazing cattle and horses with a friendly ring. They often respond with a moo or neigh. Life is good. Thank you Spurcycle for a quality product.

Purchased this after going through several low end bells. This is worth every penny! Not only is it sleek and compact, but it actually resonates after the initial ring... I highly recommend it. I went out and purchased 2 more .

I purchased one Spucycle bell for my road bike and one for the new gravel bike. The design and workmanship are impeccable. Very minimalist. However the bell chime is anything but, plenty loud with a very long decay (perhaps 10 seconds). These bells add a nice finishing touch to your favorite bike(s) and will make friends on the trail.

Use it on my Ebike and every one around can hear it-and the sound in pleasant!

Got this bell because I commute tofrom work on a bike path that is used by many walkers, withwithout dogs & kids. I love how small yet loud it is. The sound is crisp, clean and reverberates longer than any other I have owned. It's pricey but worth it if you want a real high quality bell to alert others you are coming up on them.

It's a bell with character

Well this bell is fantastic. I ride with a large group that all have bells. This bell is by far the loudest, longest ringing, and the smallest.

Use on mountain bike

I've purchased a black one and a silver one. The lack bell is louder than the silver but they both do the job......

Decided I finally needed a bell, this one is perfect. Sleek, loud, and hardly noticeable on the bike. Highly recommend.

I use this on my mountain bike because the trails can get very crowded on the weekends.

I have four Spurcycle bells now. I've tried all the other bells, but always come back to spurcycle. They always work, never had one break and look good on the bike. Super!!

The bell is obviously beautiful and is made well. Zero complaints with fit and finish. However, I'm not sure it's the loudest bell out there, as I find walkers don't consistently respond to multiple dings from a distance. It's a nice, piercing tone, and fairly pleasant to engage with. Ultimately, I love the aesthetics and would not choose something else!
