Easy to apply to a thoroughly clean or previously waxed chain.

Using the full Silca wax line this summer and really happy with it so far. Much cleaner for roadside issues, easier to clean and freshen up wax, seems like a winner.

Easy fast and very clean

Been using this for several years, it has no rival IMO. Almost as good as waxing.

Great lube, but expensive

If you're willing to take the wax plunge, as it were, this is what you want. Long-time roadie and chain has never run smoother or quieter.

Of all the chain products I've used over the years I've yet to find one that works as good as this one. Highly recommended. Just follow the instructional videos.

easy to apply and clean

I use this after about 300 mikes to keep my drivetrain its ablute smoothest after the initial Silca hot wax treatment. Outstanding so far.

It and have stuck with it. My application process is simple. Put on a rubber glove and squeeze a dot on each link in a 10' strip. Then massage it in. Repeat with another section until entire chain is lubed. I find it best to let it sit overnight but have used it immediately when time did not allow. The stuff is super slick and sheds dirt.

Obviously hot waxing is better, but this works to get me to the next hot waxing when I don't have time or energy to do it right away. Only down side is you need to let it set overnight to set up, but it brings things back to the quiet chain I enjoy not hearing.

After reading ZFC data on low wear on drive train components with Silca wax and watching Silca Velo videos, made the switch to hot wax on MTB, gravel and 4 road bikes. Best results in my 50 years of riding. Used Squirt last 6 years which was improvement over Progold. Lots of mud on MTB here, wash with Silca cleaner, 5ml in bucket and scrub the bike, dry the chain with microfiber. After 5 winter rides have had no sqeaks, or rust, and added some of the SSSCL to the chain. Had tried using it on road bike chain and it seemed to run off, so added two M6 nuts and shook for 20-30 seconds, then warmed bottle in a cup of hot water; it went on the freshly dried MTB chain very well using the backpedal and drip onto chain on largest cog method. No need to drip on each link... Has dried well and filled in the gaps and super smooth running. This stuff is great.
