Great pedals! Last forever. I replaced the cleat holders on my 10 year old XTRs and they performed just like new afterwards. The new ones went on my road bike. Same shoe compatibility with my mountain bike.

As others have said, these are the gold standard. I have had a set on my mountain bike for six years and they work as well as they did the day I bought them. I've had a set on my gravel bike for two years and same thing - zero issues. They just work reliably and with almost no maintenance (I cleaned and re-greased the bearings on the mountain bike set, which took all of five minutes. I've done no maintenance on the gravel bike set). As far as bang-for-buck, they cannot be beat.

Shimano pedals are the gold standard for pedals in terms of functionality and durability. Bombproof, no off-plane movement between shoe and pedal, thoughtful release value range. The 52mm spindle versions take things a step farther by getting your effective Q factor closer to that of a road bike. Great for folks like me with narrow hips who split their time on- and off-road. Highly recommend for folks sensitive to the ever-increasing Q factor of today's MTBs but don't want to compromise functionality.

This is my 3rd set of these pedals. I have them on 3 different bikes, the oldest set are on a 1997 Santa Cruz Heckler. I have been beating on that set for over 25 years. They hold up well to pedal strikes, the axles are all still straight. This newest set went on a restored Kos Kruiser. Love these pedals.

XTR Pedals, what else can you say. The best MTB pedal and has been for decades. Literally indestructible, last pair lasted me over 10 years with hard racing until the bearings finally gave out and I still use them on a beater bike. Got them on sale too??

Put these guys through the wringer from racing cross in the mud to dusty, sandy single track. They remain smooth and perfect as ever. And, why would you buy these beauties anywhere other than from BTD? Best price and service on the internet!

My road shoes never fit well because lack of cleat adjustment. These pedals work with my gravel shoes which have a lot of cleat adjustment. Basically these Shimano XTR pedals were less expensive than a new pair of road shoes.

This is my second set of these pedals. Both on 3rd Generation Domane and on 4th generation Domane. I went with these because fairly light weight, low profile. Easy to clip in, always the right side up. When you go from stop position. Great pedal if you get them on sale. I would buy again.

Not much to say really Ive put over a thousand miles on these pedals and they have been flawless. Slightly lower pedal stack height to be aware of when you measure for your fit

I recently upgraded my pedals to these XTRs. They are bulletproof! Theyre easy to get used to and with the Shimano name behind them, they will be long lasting.

The best SPD pedals Ive ever used. Flawless engagement and removal. Ride cyclocross fixed and geared and these have worked perfectly. Shed mud and dog s**t, as well.

It's awesome to be able to count on excellence when buying a cycling product Shimano delivers again on these Dura Ace pedals.
Big thanks to Shimano for offering this pedal in a short axle version for those of us who need smaller Q factors.

These pedals are great for my gravel bike! I previously ran M324's before i knew for aure i wanted to run clipless but those became heavy and cumbersome the more i got into it. These are easy to clip in, nice and light, and simple to adjust!

I was on Time ATACs for 20 years. These release more consistently and the pedaling platform is more stabile

I have ridden every top-end model of Shimano clipless XC pedals since 1990. They have always and continue to work very well. I like the shorter Q available on this particular version. I never think about them-perfect.

Haven been using them for about 2 months. They work great and seem to be of very good quality, as you would expect from shimano pedals.

I've ridden these on mountain and electric bikes, and several recumbent trikes. I've ridden other brands, but the SPD's are the most stable; beautifully engineered and machined. They've never failed me.
