I bought this for using on my GRX 810 2X11 setup. It works without modification (i.e. you do NOT need a road link or goat link to make this work). All you need to do is screw in your B-screw more than for other cassettes. You may want to put a bit of purple locktite (this kind is designed for set screws) on your B-screw to make sure it keeps its setting. Cross chaining at the extremes is noisier than say a 11-34 cassette, but usable if needed for bailout.
It took about 50 miles of use to break in and once it did, it is extremely smooth. This is a great gearing option if you a have a lot of climbing planned for your ride.
I dont use this cassette every day, but when I need it, it makes a bid difference to spin instead of burning out your legs grinding away.

Gear range upgrade for my gravel bike, good Shimano quality. Price was good, shipping fast. Only issue was they refused to ship it to the hotel I was staying at which is odd. Had to get it sent to a friends residential address instead.

I just bought a third one. These work great with 2X GRX 11-speed, despite Shimano's conservative specs. Just a turn of the B-screw, and Bob's your uncle.

The standard GRX gearing wasn't cutting in the areas I ride. Hills in all directions, so I started to do some research and a couple of YouTubers said they had success with this cassette and a Wolf Tooth DM. I got both, it took about 1 hour to swap on this cassette, swap in the Wolf Tooth and adjust the B tension clearance.
The shifting is superb and I have zero regrets on upgrading the GRX 815 gearing :)

Worked great with a Road group

I've got a set of bullet proof alloy DT Swiss wheels I use for bikepacking/touring on my gravel bike and I wanted an extra climbing gear for when I'm loaded with gear. Thankfully you can adjust a GRX rear derailleur to accommodate an 11-40 rear cassette.

I use the 11-46T on my gravel bike with a 42T 1x front chainring. This cassette is reliable and shifts great.

Installed with DI2 XT derailleur on a road bike. Does the job for 1x gearing.

Excellent shifting - Good price on a hard to find item.

Use it on my gravel bike and it has made climbing with a fully loaded bike a lot easier.

I replaced a worn DuraAce cassette with the Shimano M8000 for more durability in winter months. The fit and efficiency is excellent and Ive not noticed any issues in shifting. Great recommendation for the swap by Seth! Thanks again!
