Put simply, these tires rule! I live in a town where I've been constantly bitten by nails, drywall screws, glass, etc. Haven't had a flat with these tires yet and I've put about 200 or so miles on them. They're a bit on the heavy side, but it sure beats patching or replacing tubes on the side of the road. Couple them with some tpu tubes and they're really, really good.

With 500-600 miles on them, they still look new. No flats . Good touring tire. Not the smoothest ride, but ride well enough when loaded.

I replaced some tires that I had six flats on in 3000 miles. Hopefully these will be better. They are thicker and noticeably heavier. But I knew that bc I am tired of changing tubes on a ride. Have 100 miles on dry pavement. Great traction. Smooth. Only miles will tell on the protection from flats.
