A great tire

Hello Got my new Schwalbe Marathon 700c Tire (HS 420) 700x32 yesterday August 21, 2020 and I am loving this tire put them on last night with very little trouble and hey no pinched flats :) today the 22nd went for my grocery's with my back panniers and loved the ride .

I do all my running around with my touring bike 2008 Fuji and will buy these again.

Can't go wrong with them and the great service from biketiresdirect.com.

Thank you for your feedback.

Love the ride

Just put a pair of 700x35s on my Jamis Bosanova and it's like having a brand new bike. The tires were easy to get on the rims though 35mm was really pushing the fender clearance - a very tight fit. I only wish I had purchased these thousands of miles ago, the ride is so smooth and comfortable now having ditched the harsh Vittoria stock tires.

Thank you for your feedback.

No more flats

I have been riding these tires for a year now and have not had a flat. I use them on the bike paths in town where we have a lot of broken glass. Also use them on a bike i set up to ride on gravel. If you don't like flats when you would rather be riding I recommend you give these tires a try.

Thank you for your feedback.

If you're tired of fixing flats on the road...

Yes, I have my fingers crossed, but... Five years and hundreds of city, trail, and road miles and not one flat. They are heavy but extremely durable. Currently using them on my one year old Specialized Cirrus.

Thank you for your feedback.

Reliable tire

3200 miles and I finally got a flat, big chunk of glass. I practically tore my fingers apart trying to get the glass out - I was impressed with how hard it was to remove, I kind of felt like Wiley Coyote pulling on a rubber band - the thing just wouldn't let go. The Greenguard is tough stuff, hard to get things through it and that's why it's been such a reliable tire.

Low rolling resistance is nice too.

Thank you for your feedback.

Smooth and confident ride

I purchased these tires as an exact replacement set - the prior pair have over 4K miles and counting on a combination of hard surface and gravel trails without a single puncture. I enjoy the smooth ride, reliability, and confidence to hold a line.

Thank you for your feedback.

Long-wearing!

I've been using Schwalbe Marathons for years. They serve very wall for a long time in my daily commutes to the gym and work on neighborhood streets and gravel trails. I rarely get a flat. They take a little more muscle to mount than less-expensive tires I've tried, but I suspect that is a sign of the quality of materials. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great tire for City type bike

Schwalbe tires are great for what they are. Not a race tire but a good city tire for everyday and every condition riding. Comfortable and long wearing. I can't recommend enough.

Go to tires for commuting and touring

I have been commuting on Schwalbe Marathons since 2012 and have had two punctures during that time. They are a little heavy, however, the trade off with a puncture free commute is worth it. During that time I also did a 1,000 mile tour with no punctures.

Thank you for your feedback.

Fit on 29er rims, roll well on asphalt. Love the reflective sidewalls.

I use these to ride on asphalt and sidewalks with occasional gravel. They don't have great traction in mud, but that's to be expected with the tread design when pumped up to the higher pressure rating. Overall, seem good for touring with roads and paved trail. I've only ridden 150mi on them, but absolutely no complaints so far.

Thank you for your feedback.

One of the best bargains you're likely to find

They're Schwalbe tires (Marathons), so that pretty much says it. They ride extremely well and they're everything but puncture resistant. And BTD has the best price you're going to find anywhere.

Thank you for your feedback.

Just Missed

I bought these tires to put on a gravel bike I built. I want to start by saying these tires have a lot going for them. They roll incredibly well for 32MM tires. I have ridden them on a variety of surfaces and they hook up great. Everything from asphalt, to grass, to gravel, to boulder strewn jeep trails, to hard pack dirt. They took a pounding over about 500 miles during my 3 week vacation in the Colorado Rockies and they show no wear, cuts or abrasions. The critical flaw is that the front tire is out of round. I mounted them before I went on my vacation and rode them for about 100 miles on the paths around New Orleans. The front tire has a very pronounced thump, thump, thump as it rotates. I put the bike in my stand, spun the tire and lowered a straight edge to the tire. That really made the bad spot stand out. There would be plenty of clearance throughout most of the tire's rotation then about an inch of the tire would rub. Had the tire not been defective, I would have given 5 stars.

Thank you for your feedback.

500 miles with no flats yet

I ride a set of 700 x 35's, mounted on a touring bike, across paved trails, road shoulders, grass and gravel. After 500 miles, no flats, smooth ride, only 1 needed re-inflation.

Thank you for your feedback.

good solid tire

I'v only ridden a few hundred miles on them but they seem very flat resistant, very good on pavement or hard-packed surfaces not so good on loose sanddirt. I no longer worry about running over stuff in the street...

Thank you for your feedback.

Purchased on sale and it was worth it.

Very good tire which I purchased to stop getting flats from blackberry thorns. The stock tires that came with the bike from BikesDirect were cheap 35c Continental mud tires and replacement was overdue.
