After more than 50 years in the cycling industry; selling products to and purchasing products from; for personal riding use, a vast number of brick and mortar bike shops and on line dealers, I have experienced a full range of quality in all aspects of products and service.
BikeTiresDirect are a step above everyone else.
A year ago I retired and am now faced doing all my own maintenance without the crew in the office who would help me at every step with any issues.
My wife and I both ride everything from fat tires on the beach to gravel, road and MTB, plus city commuting and errands. We average 12-14 hours per week.
The selection of products offered is the utmost in quality brands and the shipping is incredibly fast. BUT, what sets BikeTiresDirect above all the others is their SERVICE.
I bought these Schwalbe gravel tires as a replacement for the same exact model that we were already riding.
I also purchased sealant (different brand from what I used in the past) and after mounting I kept on having trouble maintaining air and mounted several times to totally insure the bead and valve stem were seated correctly.
I finally contacted the BikeTiresDirect customer service team and wondered if I had a bad batch of tires.
They quickly replied and asked me to check the sealant/sealant quality. They even sent a complimentary bottle of another brand to try and see if it solved the problem.
It did! Lesson learned and problem solved.
I will continue to believe in BikeTiresDirect and their dedication to creating positive customer riding experiences for all their riders.

I bought these in a 40mm width for the champagne gravel I ride locally and love them. To get to the side nob's cornering you have to really lean the bike over. I run 30 psi in them and have had no issues.

Rolls fast in dry conditions and on pavement. A bit slippery on hard pack or kitty litter type stuff compared to a more aggressive tread. No issues with punctures in the first few hundred miles despite going over a lot of sharp chunk. Overall this is a solid race tire.

Put this in 55mm on the back of your fatty grav bike and perfection is achieved. Fast, but voluminous for comfort. Me gusta mucho!

Rolls great on the Champagne gravel I ride, while the side knobs provide confidence in corners. Perfect for what I do. Have only ridden a few times so I can't speak to longevity. Just wish the tires were a little cheaper.

Since my other gravel wheels are running 45s and 2.1 with deep treads, I was worried about how these would hold up on the boney trails here in eastern New England. So far, the answer is really good, and they are also much faster on pavement, which is a win for mixed media courses

I put these on my gravel bike - Trek Checkpoint, DT-Swiss Wheels, 700C X 45 mm. I set these up with TPU tubes because I don't want to deal with the tubeless mess + I only ride my gravel bike about 20 times per year (only in the winter). I ride at 30 PSI (165 lb). No issues with pinch flats. Great grip on gravel and mud as the tread is soft and supple. Also, it's fast on smooth tarmac - almost as fast as my road bike (Cervelo Caledonia with Elite Wheels + Conti GP 5000 (32 mm) + tpu tubes).

I ride mixed-surface and gravel events and have these in 35mm, 40mm and 45mm. They perform well on the pavement and the wider sizes have never let me down on rough gravel. If there is a better tire than these, please let me know.

Great choice if you ride a lot of pavement/hard pack, but like to mix it up with a trail or two. Currently running as tubeless and no issues with punctures (so far).

fast slicks. good in new england

These tires are noticeably faster, but when leaning or turning, there is a noticeable traction loss before they hook up. They allow the bike to move around under you, which is ok. I lost it on a turn due to lost traction.

Love these tyres, I have them in 50mm version installed tubeless on my Crux. Easy enough to install, roll smoothly, look great and - hope I don't jinx myself - puncture resistant so far. Strong recommend.

Schwalbe G-ONE RS 700cc x 40 gravel tires are the best of the best. This tire is so fast on most gravel conditions, I'd say 2 mph faster for the same effort on flat and downhills. It's just as good going uphill, it just doesn't "feel faster"; it's just easier. I pity the folks who have to follow me with more aggressive mtn bike bias tread, although I usually just slow down a little (when they're looking). Of course I ride these tires tubeless somewhere between 35 psi and 60 psi (when I'm 100% on the pavement cuz there's still now on the FSRs). I have had several punctures from road and trail debris, including thorns and a small screw. Quick stop, rotate the leak to 6 o'clock, press a bit, seal the leak, wait 1 minute, and continue on my adventure. The last pair lasted between 1500-2000 miles, and they did thin where the rubber meets the road, so I replaced them with same same. Bit pricey, but if you love going fast on gravel, they are worth every dolla!

Fast on pavement, and nicely grips gravel during climbs with the tread pattern reversed on rear tire, and handles well generally on gravel-2.

I bought this not for gravel use but for use in Winter. In winter, we have lots of rainy days with temp between 0-5c. So to have avoid slippery roads I got these tires. I am pretty happy with them and have experienced no issue. Only tiny non-issue is the fact that when I tried to pop the tires on, it took more than recommended PSI to get it sit on the bead properly. I had to go ~10 PSI higher and be a bit patient for the tire to pop on the bead. Once done, I removed the excess air from the tire and adjust PSI to what I wanted and tire was sitting on bead with no issue. Overall happy and recommend it.

I bought some of these second hand, low miles, in size 35mm. They were destined for an "all road bike" and/or an older cross frame I was building up with limited clearance. Otherwise I'm on the "bigger is better" train for gravel bike tires. But seeing as the 700x45s are unobtanium, I was pretty happy to have had a good reason to run 35s. Let me tell you, these tires are fast af. They have a super sticky and soft compound that feels premium, I'm not sure how long they'll hold up. I haven't run them on any really gnarly stuff yet, just a couple gravel rides, some play around on buff xc trails and a bit of loose dirt road descending. I will say they are not the most confidence inspiring in terms of grip. But they are 35s, and I'm not expecting much. I'd say they perform about as well as a 35 slick would + a little extra. Run them a tad lower pressure and I think they will perform admirably but not astonishingly well. There are other tire choices if that's your bag. They were designed for the SBT course and I think they'd excel there and in similar conditions. I myself raced SBT on Challenge Strada 36mms and thought they were just right.

These Schwalbe G-One RS tires are the best I've used so far. There fast and excellent puncture resistance. I like them so much I also purchased these in 35 & 45mm sizes. I complimented these tires with the SILCA tubelss sealant. I recommend these awesome tires.

I have the 700'50 brown version. Super fast rolling and have survived super chunky gravel and trail without flats (yet, over 500 miles so far). Tubeless setup with sealant, of course.

Rode the C&O and GAP Trails in DC, MD and Pa. The tire was unstoppable on hard packed dirt, bumps, ruts and gravel - the best I've ever ridden!

I like Schwalbe as a brand and have used their tires in various bikes. These went on my Wilde Earth Ship and couldn't be happier with the grip and speed.
