Immediately after replacing the standard road bars on my gravel bike I noticed much more stability while blasting down gnarly, choppy terrain in the wide drops. Also, I immediately noticed less vibration from the carbon bars. With this purchase I also increased from 42 to 44 mm with. Together, although it may just be perception, I believe Im riding faster with these bars. Regardless gravel is even more fun now. On the flipside, sometimes I wonder if the outward drop angle of Woodchipper is too extremewide. Maybe the Cowchippers are wide enough. Either way, Salsa carbon chippers are the way to go.
